The King Alien and the Flying Queen is a bit too much, but the others are all right.
Even the Knock-Offs seem to be worth their prizes.

No clue what they're going to do with it. I actually didn't mind AvP. Not nearly as good as Alien(s) or Predator 1/2 (probably better than Resurrection, though), but I wasn't expecting Schindler's List going into it. A good smackdown fight between the two sides. That's what I got out of it.

AvP2 should be cool, though. An Alien/Pred hybrid. That's what I like about these two series: A sequel builds on the mythos; it doesn't just retread the same thing in a movie that just shuffles the scenes of its predecessors around.

An alien queen will always lay the same type of eggs. There's no different kinds of huggers. The only thing that might change is their size, because they would need to adapt to their host's size. The only reason why an alien will look different from another is because the embryo inside of the host will inherit some genetic similarities (mainly physical), so that it could adapt, become stronger or more resilient to the environement.

That's why so many different alien figures were made, to demonstrate that. I really don't think that a spider or scorpion or fly alien could exist due the ridiculous size of the host. But a bull, gorilla and panther alien would be quite possible.

Nope. If you're talking about the spear, maybe, but for the plasma caster and other advanced Predator thechnology, no. Even for the spear, why would an alien use that, his body is already a leathal weapon. An alien could maybe grab and handle the spear a little, but it would never use it as a spear and actually attack with it.

A good smackdown fight between the two sides. That's what I got out of it.

That's why most fans hated AvP. It was just a summer popcorn movie. Nothing more. 2 guys in big bulky rubber suits wrestling each other... I didn't want to see a grand classic either, but both franchise (excluding P2, A3 and AR) gave us some solid emotions. What I got from AvP was a good laugh and I felt ashamed on more than one occasion...

A little update here. This is an official scene from Aliens vs Predator 2. What you can ''see'' here is the predalien vs a predator. Now this is surely at the begining of the movie when the predalien is escaping. Or since there's only one Predator in the movie, the predator might be able the heal thanks to his medikit, and the predalien might survive the blades in the head. Or this is in the final minutes fo the movie... But anyway, its still one cool picture. I actually like the fact that you can't see all that much.



Also, a trailer will soon hit us. And when I say soon, I mean in a few days...

BTW I'm a girl and did you know that they made the Scar predator AKA the hero of AVP have realy long dread lock to make him "LOOK" hot.That is not a lie I have the Directors cut DVD.

Not true - the 'Praetorian' facehugger as it seems to be called, from Alien 3, is a different kind. Why? Well, for one, it impregnated Ripley and a dog/cow. And two, it impregnated Ripley with a Queen. So yeah, at least two types of facehugger in official canon.

As for the Predalien, my hopes are that they don't overdo it. Just a particularly aggressive alien, with the mandibles instead of the normal mouth. But still the proboscis. But they really are going to overdo it.

Also, I wonder how long it's going to take before there's a film of the "Alien versus Predator versus Terminator" comics.

You're right. I forgot about the Preatorian kind. I don't know if the queen can really choose to lay an egg like that though. Must be random. But who knows, they're aliens after all. Depending on the situation, a queen might be able to lay such an egg on demand...

They might overdo it a bit with the predalien. But hey, we all waited for a Predalien for a long time. So I wouldn't mind too much. As long as he's still an ''alien'' and not just a rogue big dude attacking both preds and aliens. And humans too...

As for the AvPvT thing. Worst idea ever. They'll never do that. Well I hope. The whole AvPvT thing left a bitter taste in my mouth. All those crossover are all bad ideas. I mean Batman vs Aliens. Batman vs Predator. Green lantern vs aliens? I just really hope that they won't touch any of those... For fan made stuff its funny, but still quite absurd if you ask me.

I like some of it. "Robocop versus Terminator" was really well done.
And I think that the Queen lays those eggs at a set time, or in certain situations - like a bee or wasp queen can lay different kinds of eggs depending on the situation the hive is in.
