What Naruto episode is that?

Postby Nico » Mon Feb 12, 2007 4:27 pm

Ok..i hate Naruto BUT i really want to watch naruto sasuke fight to death! I know there is a big fight...Here the Wikipedia text:

Naruto refuses to accept Sasuke's decision and decides to drag Sasuke back to the village by force if he has to. They therefore engage in battle, with Sasuke initially having the upperhand thanks to his cursed seal and Sharingan. When he manages to pierce Naruto's right shoulder with his One Thousand Birds jutsu, however, the demon fox's chakra kicks in to protect Naruto, giving him a massive power increase.

With his fox chakra now active, Naruto easily tosses Sasuke about in an attempt to knock some sense into him. Sasuke merely retorts that Naruto could never understand what it's like to lose family members, as he never had them to begin with. Naruto reasons that Sasuke is like a brother to him, therefore he will not let him destroy that bond. Accepting Naruto's strength, Sasuke puts on his headband to indicate this point and his Sharingan fully develops, forming three tomoe in each eye. He still scoffs at the idea that Naruto would even be able to scratch his forehead. The battle from this point onward tips towards Sasuke's favor, with Naruto barely managing to keep up. Though Naruto lands a couple hits, he is injured once again by a piledriver from a high cliff by Sasuke. Like with his previous injury, the fox's chakra once again comes to his rescue, enveloping him in a fox-shaped shield of chakra and boosting his power once more.

So, in what episode does it start. I wanna these two fight to death!!! I wish they could both die in this fight, but i dont happen...too bad...

Well Wikipedia does have the episode list on there site in case you didn't know.

But I think it starts either around episode 125 or 130, just remember there is a long flashback before the fight takes place. But other than that it is one of the best fights in the series next to Rock Lee vs Gaara.

Yea that whole thing with Zabuza turned me off Nauto for awhile due to how incredibly freaking long it was. It got better when the Chunin exams started.

Though no one can can denie that Zabuza's death rocked.

The fight spans a couple of episodes but it's well worth the watch. I should know... I've seen it. It's purty violent (SPOILER: naruto bleeds through his pores at one point...OOOHHHH AHHHHHH VOILENT)

No. That was still the day where shurikens and kunai's would actually wound someone, ninja tactics were used, a punch would hurt and characters were still developing.
Episode 133 was the point where fireball nujutsu's can't actually harm anyone. Shurikens are being thrown just to be deflected and to show how incredibly awesome the enemy is and when someone has enough force to punch you into a cliff you won't actually feel it. You'll just stand up, brush it off and fight on again.

I guess I'm alone in the boat of people who enjoy long drawn out fight scenes.

You want to see violent? Watch Fist Of The North Star and Violence Jack. Some of the most violent anime I've ever seen.

Nah, those shows are violent in a cartoony way. (In Fist of the North Star people would blow up if they were poked a few times.)

As far as Naruto goes, I used to like it, up through the Zabuza arc it was still very ninja-ish but people like Gaara is what killed the series. The only good fights after the Zabuza arc were anytime Neji or Lee fought, besides that the fights suck.

When I first saw Gaara I thought he must be the one of the toughest guys in the show. But then I found out he doesn't actually fight, he just uses his sand and that for me is disappointing. It sort of makes him suck.

Yeah, Rock Lee's awesome, great fights too.
