I thought I'd do something different and just make the Autobots a group of rebbels fighting a Megatron who has allready taken over the planet. And Omega Supreme is their original leader who will later be replaced by Orian Pax. The way I see it is simular to the movie exsept swap out Optimus with Omega and Hot Rod with Orian and then have Orian and Megatron fight after Omega's death leading to both being injurded badly enough that they have to be rebuilt into Galvatron and Optimus Prime.

We wouldn't be so much an assault team, I'm thinking more who would be cool to grill some steaks and drink with. Arcee and BA don't realy fit the bill, but whats a BBQ without some chicks

Not the way I'm thinking. Look at it as Decepticons completly over run the planet and the small handfull of Autobots I mentioned are the ONLY Autobots left on the entire planet. Hence the "Group of Rebels" comment sence you obviously didn't get what that ment.

G1 Megatron takeing over Cybertron and BM Megatron are NOTHING compaired to how I imagined this. It's less of a planetary war and more of "We're the last remaining Autobots fighting for survival".

So no there hasn't been any TF series that did that before.

Sounds exactly what BM was to me; sure it has more in it with the techno-organic and free the sparks, but a small group of Maximals fighting for their survival is what it primarily is on the daily basis.

Soundwave, Bludgeon, Defcon, Mirage, Skywarp, and the humans can throw in Nightbird! C.I.A.S. 5.1 Cybertron Infiltration Asassination Squad!

But Megatron wasn't the Emporer of Cybertron and the Maximals weren't fighting for their survival. They were fighting for the survival of an entire planet, Maximal and Predacon. (Sence the Predacons on Cybertron never approved of anything Megatron did anyway. He wasn't even supose to go to Earth and start the Beast Wars but just steal the Golden Disk and deliver it to someone else.)

Beast Machines Cybertron is inhabeted only by seven Maximals and only 3 Vehicon Generals at a time. (5 total but Strika and Obsidian didn't show up till Tankor and Jetstorm were gone.) And in case you couldn't tell I was perpusly not counting Megatron as a Vehicon sence while he has a beast mode I consider him to still be a Predacon. There's nothing in the show that says he's a Vehicon either, only that he created them. The toys label him as one so it's open for viewer speculation as to exactly what Megatron is.

Anyway... Megatron couldn't really take over, not the way he wanted to because his vision for the perfect Cybertron was a world ONLY inhabited by himself. Even if he had succeded he couldn't REALLY be called an Emporer because he wouldn't have an empire. What kind of ruler rules over a dead planet?

The Megatron I invisioned is on a fully Populated Cybertron but it's fully Populated by Decepticons. The Autobots would have to hide underground or blend in as Decepticons themselfs in order to survive.

Kinda makes the odds REALLY stacked agenst them when it's a hand full of Autobots vs. a Planet full of Decepticons. Obviously with that many Decepticons it's not possible to really show any of them really well so most act as extras in a crowd.
