What would be the cons and pros in having Arcee in the movie?
She could be a love interest or show the humans that autobots aren't as different as they are? They mate and have young. Their females are smart and pretty and there could have been a scene where Arcee got into a fight with Starscream. What would be cons and pros in having more seekers in the movie? There would be more characters and more dogfighting scenes.Starscream could have fights with Thundercracker and Skywarp in the movie.

TFs do not mate.
And if you do read this:
Arcee does not even have to be a fem-bot in the Movie-verse.

They may not "mate" but how do you know that they don't "engage in activities for pleasure"?

I see no pros or cons to her being in the movie or not, personally i'm against the idea of it because most people want her in like she's suppose to be a great character, something I have never considered her to be.

Having her in would open the door for more people to like TFs. Transformers isn't a "boys only club." My gf is VERY annoyed that she was cut from the movie so having her in the sequel would be a very good thing IMO.

there are only cons, no pros
Arcee is a terrible idea. Use her screen time to bring in somebody cool, like Shockwave.

Actually, I thought she was cut for the first movie for several reasons. Negative reaction to her character for one. While I could care less whether she is in the movie or not, I think in the end Ironhide, who replaced her, was a better choice.
She was also cut for being too small. Without mass shifting she would seem out of place or they would have had to redesign her character and alt mode to something other than a motorcycle.
I believe another concern with the writing team was how to explain "robot gender", a difficult prospect in an already crowded story that they were concerned the audience would not completely understand.

I think we're getting away from the fact that the Transformers, although mechanical and highly advanced, have very human characteristics. They have a sense of loyalty, treachery, they despise things, they feel pain. They are aliens after all. They could theoretically reproduce. Although incorporating Arcee in the next movie would throw people off, there shouldn't be a need flesh out a reason for her being there other than the war between Autobots/Decepticons.

I can't think of any pros or cons except that I don't like the idea of Arcee being in the movie. Not to sure about that whole mating thing. TFs aren't supposed to do that.
I don't feel that TFs are an all boys club. And I'm female. I'm ok with it being the way it is.

Because, they wouldn't be able to show it in the movie. And anything outside of the realm of fiction does not happen. Ha. Plus why would they build genitals on a robot?
And why Arcee, anyway? Arcee is crap. What the hell is everyone's fixation on Arcee? She isn't the ONLY BLOODY FEMALE TRANSFORMER. Elita-1 is meant to be the Leader of the Female Autobots, so why not bring her in? And why is it that everyone wants Female Transformers brought in for the same token reasons:
"It needs a woman's touch! It sucks that it's all male autobots! Love interest!" Really, can anyone come up with a reason that isn't one of these? Because I REALLY can't see any reason that Arcee should be brought in over a good chracter like a Sideswipe, or a Sunstreaker, or a Prowl, or a Blaster.

Actually I paraphrased what was said by the writers in several different interviews. Here is a quote from Robert Orci, the screenwriter, in an interview with IGN:
IGN: Were Soundwave and Arcee the two characters you most would have liked to see in the film? Or who would you have liked to include that you couldn't?
Orci: Those two were kind of the main ones, but a few different Transformers came in at various points to serve the story, but the story dictated certain other things. But those are the two main Transformers. I would have liked to see Arcee, but the idea of a female Transformer needs its own explanation, and there just wasn't going to be enough time. It would have been like, "Oh, that's convenient. They're trying to appease women with a pink Transformer." So rather than having that happen, let it just be a straight shot and speak for itself right now.
