Weapon: Shotgun
for me the best toy was likely Armada powerlinx Hot shot/with minicon jolt.
and i;m proud to say I've reclaimed the autobot hero, Hot shot, as I purchased a 100% complete armada powerlinx hot shot.

you see, I made the mistake of selling all my TF's many years ago, and now I really need to relive the joy's that armada TF's brought to me.

this one Hot shot, has brought back many geat memories from my childhood.

Best TF from my childhood? Hmm...I'd have to say G2 Swindle with G2 Blastoff as a close second. I remember that I LOVED those toys (especially Swindle) because I thought they worked really well with my Jurassic Park figures. I mean...Swindle was a jeep...and there were jeeps in the movie... I never did manage to find Vortex, Brawl, or Onslaught. When I finally managed to get G2 Bruticus as an adult, it was definitely one of the greatest moments I've had as a collector.

One of the things I've always regretted was NOT getting Classics Ultra Magnus or the City Commander Armor when they were both relatively cheap. I didn't trust 3rd party companies at the time...

Oh well, at least I managed to change my mind on the whole 3rd party trend when the Shadow Commander armor was released.

My fav would have to be G-1 Hun-gurrr. The Terrorcons were the first combiner I had growing up and he was my favorite.

My biggest mistake was..... I was in Walmart w/ the family and I held the Walmart exclusive Classics Devy in my hands and left it there because I didn't start re-collecting until the 07 movie came out. :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: #-o

Transmetal cheetor and tarantulas got alot of play and wear on them. They were my favorites by far, for a long time anyway. I just kept using them in adventures.

Biggest mistake, well, I got into painting toys at one point. I wasn't always good at it either. Like I have the megatron t-rex repaint, t-wrecks, the red one. I made him red and black. He looks really good. Put some black and chrome on TM2 iguanus, I'm ok with it.

Some others, got some bad paint apps, I'm not happy with them, and of course, they make the figure worthless if I were try and sell them.

Favourite toy from my childhood would be BW Magnaboss.

Biggest mistake, probably not putting enough money in TFs, instead on Warhammer :(

Favourite childhood TF: tough call. Maybe Scorponok cos he's so big.

Worst mistake: buying the CHewie/Solo/Falcon TF to go with Death Star Vadar. They look **** and aren't poseable.

RID RailRacer, really love that train transformer and more so that it can combine.

Biggest Mistake I think? Well I'm not sure, I did many stupid and random things collecting transformers.. haha..

I had a few random Transformers when I was a kid and a LOT of GoBots because my parents didn't know the difference but before Christmas '86 we were in Clover and my mom took me to the Transformers and pointed out they didn't have an Arcee. I was so happy because she finally knew the difference! That year between Christmas and my birthday (7 days later) I got every single Movie character but Springer. One of my friends came over and was floored to the point that he later insisted I had a Unicron at school. I must have played out the Movie scene for scene a thousand times so I'll have to count them all together as favorites like one large boxset. I'd later have to spend quite a lot of money reassembling that cast for Classics, an I got it all at original retail (or preorder for the 3rd Party stuff) prices! Still my favorite set!

Biggest mistake as a collector? Paying $250 for a Car Robots Black Battle Convoy less than a month before the Toys R Us exclusive was announced! #-o

I have to say my favorite toy from growing up was G1 Snapdragon.

My biggest mistake was not buying the Classics Ultra Magnus/Skywarp two-pack when it was on clearance at Target for $8. I walked away from that on two different occasions. I had just gotten back into collecting and I wasn't buying repaints.
Check out my collection!

Weapon: Twin Rocket Launchers
G2 tank Megatron - the big, green, what would be referred to now as leader class one. He looked awesome in both modes, could store all his weapons and missiles on his body (which was a rarity back then), had awesome firing missiles and cheesy 90's toy sound effects. That toy was so awesome, when I got back into collecting I picked him up just to have him - even before I started collecting G2.

A close second would be G2 Optimus - both the G1 remake and Laser - for pretty much all the same reasons as above. The first version had those awesome missile launchers that pegged into the trailer, and Laser just had that frickin' amazing trailer. Plus the firing missiles, disks and air pump missiles, he was a wet dream in my childhood. Haven't gotten around to getting these guys (though I can't wait for that third party trailer for the RtS mold), but RiD Scourge has kept me satiated for a while. He also makes an excellent, non-combining version of Motormaster.

Biggest regret? Not getting into collecting sooner, specifically around the time of Armada, Energon or even Cybertron. I started collecting as an adult just as the first wave of Classics came out, and though G1, G2 and Classics are all I collect, there have been plenty of molds in the AEC series that I've had to backtrack on to get good, neo-Classics versions of characters they haven't released. I'd much rather have started collecting a few years earlier and sold off the ones I didn't want when my collecting interested narrowed. Oh well.
