What's this guy's problem?

There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

What's this guy's problem?

Every single video this guy makes is nothing, but him ranting about how horrible Hollywood is and how TF fans aren't true fans unless they follow G1 only.

He even said in one video that if you weren't born in the 80's then you can never be a true fan.

On top of that, he says he respects others opinions, but when opinions are made, he proceeds to tell them about how wrong they are.

I can't tell if the guy is joking or if he genuinely feels this way.

According to his logic, I can never be considered a fan for liking Michael Bay's work on the TF franchise and because I wasn't born in the 80's. I got news for him, G1 was my first exposure to the Transformers. I got VHS tapes and whatever leftovers my parents could find in thrift stores. I think that qualifies me as one who started out as G1 fan.

Does anyone else find this guy ridiculous?

Weapon: Diffraction Sword
Somebody showed me that guy's videos before, thinking I'd love them. They didn't know what he was talking about really, they just thought it was reviews and info.

I'm as confused as you are, part of me thinks it has to be a joke. The other half is afraid he's serious. If it is a joke, it failed to make me laugh and just made me so angry I had to quit watching after the first minute.

I just have one question.

Who cares?

Why do you think they go on YouTube? To get attention of course! Folks like this are best ignored.

Can't take a guy seriously with a screen name such as that. Sorry. In his "Official Movie Review", what uniform is that he's wearing?

Anyway, nice to see the internet is allowing some other fool to get his 15 mins. Woohoo.

Well, here's how easy it was for me to come to a conclusion. Keep in mind that I only made it 4:30 into his 7+ min shpeel and that was with my attention divided between my pizza and re-runs of Star Trek the Next Generation.
Among his "Interests" over on the side were "Adult Movies" "Comic Books" and "Alcohol".
And by the 2 minute mark it was obvious he loves the sound of his own voice.
Basically, like Burn says, he thinks he needs attention. Actually, and this is worse, he probably thinks he deserves attention.
What he actually needs is a 20 dollar bill, a 10 dollar hooker, 2 trips through and a nice stiff straight shot of "Shut the Hell Up!" A closed mouth and an open mind will get him a heck of a lot farther in life. While I have an open mind I'm sure that there are some here that wish I would shut up and leave but at least I know that some of the folks are getting a kick out of me making an ass of myself (those that I haven't managed to insult or infuriate) so I must be doing some good for someone. That and occasionally I come up with something helpful or insightfull.
Hasn't happened yet this week and next week isn't looking too good either but I have a better track record than that yo-yo! :P

What's fuuny is that there was a video he took down because he pissed off Protoman over at TFW. In that video he called everyone who supports anything outside of G1 as an idiot toy collector who doesn't care about the franchises well being. In the same video, he said that ROTF Depthcharge is not Depthcharge. He then showed a pic of BW Depthcharge to which he said "That's Autobot Depthcharge". What makes that hilarious is that he didn't even get the allegiance right. Last ime I checked, BW Depthcharge was a Maximal.

I think it's funny that he's taken to having a US Flag as his backdrop. Does he think he's being a patriot by telling the world about his opinions?

Welcome to America, a world where Darwin's law is ignored and idiots like this guy are able to survive.

Bingo.

An unfortunate byproduct of the internet...The misconception that just because you say something to a webcam and put it online, everyone is going to genuinely care, and thus you are important to the world for that reason...

Incorrect.

ok i've been a TF fan since i first saw "more than meets the eye" part 1 hell it's 1 of my fondest childhood memories but in my opinion it doesn't matter when you where born or what TF show got you hooked as long as you're a fan and this guy don't know what he's talkin about
