My husband and I watched the movie for the second time on Saturday (first on the 4th). I was completely "80s cartoon geeking out" the first time around that I missed (mentally) half of the movie. So, when I watched it the second time, I was surprised my how much I truly liked this movie, and how much I missed the first time around.
First, it was a very funny movie. Bay and the creators did not take themselves or the transformers (the mythology, the hyperextreme fanboys and girls) too seriously. It made it enjoyable for everyone else who is not a diehard fan (and I don't mean the Live free, which was also a good movie,

I completely missed the Mountain Dew machine that transformed and started shooting Mountain Dews as ammo. That was frigging hilarious.
If you watched it a second time (or third, or twelth or nth), what did you miss the first time around that really caught your attention?
I apologize to our forum monitors for starting a new thread. I could not find a thread similar to this (after a brief search) and I thought this would be a fun conversation. Thanks.
