im sure my friends would but im just making sure, its not about transformers tho lol, no its called El Rastro Del Corazon, which in english means The Trail of Heart, it is a story i came up with, its about a Lion who is "the great leader" and he raises this little puppy to save the world, the thing is the lion raised one panther kitten that turned violent and mean and wants to kill the puppy, the panther eventually grows up and he wants to turn the world to hell basically, the Lion(Rey) is trying to make sure the puppy turned Dog(Gysayah) saves the world from chaos and suffereing under the panther's(Impe) vision. The dog Gysayah is supposed to be "the prophecy" that is supposed to save all of the animals and earth basically and yeah, she faces some "bumps" in the road that try to stop her, not to mention she must lead a bunch of other lions and dogs so its gonna be freakin epic! You might want to stay tuned for more information and keep an eye on my deviantart so you can understand the idea of things a bit more, i have a prologue written ^.^

Okay i'm glad i'm supported! but the prologue is writtenm, and all the character sheets are done its been really stressing just getting things started, i have like not even a quarter of the script done. I haven't even started with page one either it's a killer. I'm also looking for work and theres nothin! but hopefully i'll have thigs done soon as possible, its really hard stuff to do i wouldn't reccomend just anyone doing this. If you get into comic book making or art, be ready and prepared its a PAIN!

The premise of the story sounds cool. You've got my support!
I had the intention of getting into the comic industry but it's tough, especially self-publishing, though it can be easier with a web comic format. I'm now working towards working in the concept art industry, though I'd still like to work on self published comics some day. But for now, I've gots to eat so work in the pro art industry is my goal.
The most difficult aspect of comic creation is the fact you have to master several disciplines. You need to be able to tell a story through visuals, you need to know how to compose imagery, you need to know how to pace your storytelling. A lot of comic art eschews this these days but line weight is so vital to good line art.
There's not enough appreciation for comic art. I recommend Will Eisner's "Graphic Storytelling and Visual Narrative" to any aspiring comic artists I meet.
I also recommend The Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons as a bible for comic artists because it is the epitome of how visual and written narrative can and should work together in the comic or "sequential art" format. Each chapter of the series is an exploration of how to use the comic medium to its fullest. Chapter 5, "Fearful Symmetry" is full of allusions to symmetrical nature. The first half of the chapter is a reflection of the second half if you examine the panels carefully. Gibbons' approach to the comic art is so groundbreaking, even by today's standards. I don't know of any other comic artist who has come close to approaching their work as a total art form as Gibbons, Moore, and Higgins had on Watchmen. Every creative decision, visual or textual, was deliberate. Even the colouring was was in no way arbitrary. John Higgins' use of a secondary colour palette could play into the subtext of portraying the super hero genre, which is normally associated with the brighter primary colour palette, in a more real world format.
Anyways, I've rambled on too much so, again, you've got my vote of confidence. I hope to see your comic started soon, TattedPitbull. You have some great work on your Deviantart page too.

Re: would you support me if i made a comic?
Everything Convotron said, again. It's hard to fit a story into a format, and to know what needs to be shown for each panel to work, much less each part of the story arc. (Convotron, no I'm not stalking you, but for a small fee I *will* follow you everywhere and say 'yeah, he's right!'
)
One thing I feel unfortunately obliged to add is this: please make sure you use proper English grammar and spelling. I feel so bad for these artists who spend all this time creating these amazing pictures, this wonderful artwork, but they can't spend 5 minutes with Bill Gates's Amazing Spellchecking Machine, so all that hard work, and they misspell 'definitely'. In their portfolio. Forever. Like a permanent testament to their ignorance or laziness. Don't let your project get ruined by skipping SUCH an easy step!
(I got a giggle out of your new name, btw. Tatting is an old craft involving making lace out of very fine thread with a small bone shuttle. I now have this image of a lace-made pitbull in my head.)
HK, It's a cute pitbull, though.

I totally agree. The devil's in the details. It's the simple mistakes that make the most impact on first impressions too.

I just got part of the script and all of the plot down. It's alot of hard work. The character sheets were easy to do and the random thoughts that give me clues and ideas of how to "spice things up" are beyond helpful. I think it's going to be a wonderful comic, the fight is going to be getting it published and figuring out who to publish with, i've found a couple websites on the DC Comics website that is basically right up my alley so i can show off my art there too, i looked at Marvel Comics but Marvel seemed too closed and more of an "inside" comic than a more open company than DC was. DC also seems alot easier and more understanding to go through. I'm not saying I'll be the next DC prodigy but i think if i actually were to sign with a comic company i think they'd be the ones.
www.DCComics.com is thier website. Besides I'm not the only one doing this, my bestfriend is my manager, editor and tells me whats good and how to catch eyes, she tells me how to say things to make the really pop, so we kinda have a 50/50 thing going on if we ever someday get paid. We're actually hoping it someday becomes a full-length big screen movie...hopefully by 2014 or 2015 but then again we'd probly have to push for 2016 and that is long ways a way, but then again it took about 25 years to get where we are now with these kickass transformers movies. All we can do is pray we make the comic go big and pray it hits the big screen someday. PRAY FOR US GUYS! AND I CAN PROMISE SPOTS FOR VOICE ACTING IF YOU'RE INTERESTED!!!!!!
