This is great news. With some overseas markets not having the debut yet, this will haul in a heck of alot more cash.

Word of mouth advertising has really helped this film.
There is only so much an inbuilt fan base can do.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I_amtrunks...I can't agree with you more. An inbuilt fanbase can only go so far. The thing is that this is just a tremendously ENTERTAINING movie...I have yet to see anyone who didn't like it, and that includes a large number of non-TF fans that are planning on SEEING IT AGAIN. Just goes to show: critics are idiots who are too puffed up on self-importance to realize what an entertaining movie is.

Global figures: $250 million! That's plain insane! It's already 1/3 of the way to Spidey 3, FF4-2, and POTC:DMC international gross and it hasn't been out a full week yet!
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...

Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

It just broke the non-sequel record though. I don't feel like I did my part. I only saw the movie 3 times, once with my gf and the other 2 with my son. I could have gone a few more times.
