Take a look (or mental picture) of your collection of toys. If you could have ONE Transformer come to life to hang out with you, which would it be?

Gestalts count, only if they stay combined after coming to life. If you want Predaking, you're gonna be stuck with Predaking, not Predacons.

If it's a character in both the comics and cartoons, which personality would you pick? Some (Grimlock, for example) have personalities that are completely different from 1 medium to the other.

Also, I forgot to mention, whoever comes alive, stays the size (s)he is as the toy. So you can't have Optimus and expect to have a semi truck to ride around in.

Shockwave, either the FOC Deluxe or the 3rd party Quakewave mold.

The guy can make asteroids into fully armed functional spaceships. I'd keep him around to build me cool gadgets to unleash on an unsuspecting populace for fun and profit.

Henry921 has a good point, a little robotic mad scientist could be loads more fun. Was DOTM shockwave a mad scientist type, in the comics at least?

Another question, say you make a custom TF with its own fanon personality, would he have that personality, or the personality of the sum of its parts?

In just about every continuity Shockwave wanted to eradicate humans. Do you feel comfortable going to sleep with a miniature version of that running around your house?

As a matter of fact, I do. AND I take care of my friend's cats as well. There are a total of 8 cats in the house I live in. Not 1 of them named Ravage.

But 1 of them named Cheetor and 1 of them named Kicker.

And yes, they f**k **** up.

One of the few Transformers who is in 1:1 scale in both in alt mode and in robot mode. Also, he's friendly and very used to human companionship.

Oh, with Shockwave, sure. He may hate me, but given his small size and limited firepower, he'd recognize it only logical to have a human ally to help him in his long term goals.

Why Seibertron hate Wazzzzpinator??

I wish I had G1 Shockwave. Because he's too small to overthrow me, and his Hit-percentage isn't the best either. Plus I'd have a genius to help me sort out over-complicated problems, as well as develop sweet inventions that won't blow up in my face.

(But I'm still going Waspinator on this)

If you're in IDW (non-movies), then we don't really know.
Dreamwave: Anyone but Mindwipe, Bludgeon and Bugly.
Movie-verse: Anyone but Megatron, I suppose.
Aligned: Anyone else.
