Okay so thanks to my local dealer and after amounts of considering I bought this said Prime. I have also decided that this will strictly be ornamental (unopened) just like my Starscream with Cobra Commander. So I was wondering should I keep the cardboard box it came in along with the sleeve that slips over it or toss them both? The cardboard box I'm almost tempted to toss but I'm stuck on the sleeve.

The only flaw on the sleeve is it's got a bit of a curl going right on Prime's image at the shoulder which would be on the driver side of the truck mode. Honestly I think it would have been much better looking if the designers would have gone without the Prime headshot. With the sleeve off it's really cool to look at with both :BOT: on the front and the large one on top with that cool flap. The best of all is the cool phrase on the trailer door but I think "Rolling out since '84" would have sounded better.

Even with the sleeve on and showing Prime only like he's coming out just doesn't seem to hold when I leave it like that. So what do I do, what did you guys do? Did you leave it on, leave it off or maybe you chose to flatten both and stick them under your mattress or something? Thanks for the time and help all! :VEHI:

I'm confused. You first said you will keep it unopened, then you can't decide whether to keep the box?

When I bought mine, I opened it immediately. I contemplated keeping the box, but then ended up throwing away both the box and insert. He is now on the shelf staring down my Masterforce Overlord, as he is the only one tall enough.

I don't understand your question either. You have three options: keep it unopened; open it but keep the packaging; open it and toss the packaging. If you're going to get rid of SOME of the packaging, you might as well open it and play with the figure, because you've already destroyed the "NISB" status.

Sorry for the confusion so let me try again. The actual shipping box (brown) I decided to toss out. Yes as I stated this will be a MISB display only. Then there is this.... http://media.photobucket.com/image/tran ... rime.jpg... which of course is my dilemma.

Should I keep the red sleeve (with the Prime headshot) that slides on and off or should I toss that too? Like in the image one has the option of how it can be displayed but when I leave it like it is shown only showing Prime coming out it puzzles me. I wouldn't have this issue if the sleeve art did not have Primes fat head, like you wouldn't know it was him was it not for his freakin' name on the sleeve as well. So if I decide to just have this displayed without the sleeve should I keep it or toss is. Did you guys not get a sleeve with yours and if you did what did you do with it?

I took the orange sleeve off so you can see prime, but I didn't throw it out. The packaging is very cool so I don't have a strong desire to open it.

I think you're overthinking it. If you're going to keep it sealed/unopened, then you should keep ALL of the packaging.
