Same crap, another morning!

it's very depressing to see the same bullshit posted by the same, clueless, 14 year old, ruthless members day after day. It's great to have opinions, but to reiterating the same post hundreds of times gets so damn annoying I can't even read threads without my eyes bleeding.

There's nothing constructive on this board, the sightspeed is horrid, and there's more banners on the sides of my screen that any other website I've ever been to.

Every day, I log onto this board to see Sonray and Sherade with 400+ more posts than yesterday. If you guys are fans of what those 2 got to say, then I suppose you should stay, I personally, can't deal with it.

I'm sorry I can't sit back in my chair without commenting on how jin just dunks a brush in paint, or how acrylics & enamels suck. I can't sit in my chair when someone posts more replies about an artists work, than the artist himself.

Rather than have mods ban me once again because Sonray can't keep his mouth shut, I am just going to remain on the better, more mature, more constructive TF boards.

It's a shame because I have an arsenal of customs members he won't have the opportunity to share with me, tutorials, tricks, techniques, etc.

It hurts when the same moderator who PMs me says "Please give us any reason to ban Sonray" is the same one who suspended me. I don't need it.

Sorry to hear you leaving dude. While my posts may have occasionally not come across this way, I didn't really have anything against you, just the way you always seemed to try to get Sonray flared up. When Sonray hasn't been involved you've been good fun to talk to & you're a helluva kitbasher. It'll be a shame not to have you around.
It's also a shame that you're leaving on such a sour note, & that my last post to you was a confrontational one. For this I apologise & hope that if you come back or we meet on another board that you wont hold any grudges towards me.

Pax if you've seen some of the things he's said around here then you may aggree with me. He's blasted Jins and Sonray's customs and they outdue all of his. He liked to pick fights with people and he can't win so that's why he's leaving.

I hate to see people always bashing each other on here. I for one could easily be bashed for my customs because they're basically all copies of Jin's work, of which I admire a great deal. I also enjoy seeing everyone else's ideas and customs because some of them are very original. I just don't understand the hate for each other. It makes me sad to see it.

HA HA! it's about time, yea this board has a bunch of kids but I'd like to see you find one that doesn't. I venture into alot of other ones and it's the same crap there as here. I think it should be the responsibility of some of the senior members to teach the younger ones how to behave on a board. And yea you get people like An_de and occasionally Sherade (who has matured alot since he first became a member) who think getting a high post count is like going to get them some kind of special prize. Crap I only comment on a few things. Otherwise I just sit back sift trough the crap and find the diamonds. All I've got to say is there's alot of good artist and alot of artist in training that just need some of the better ones to guide them. So good luck (and I mean that) on your journey to maturity, and don't worry yourself with trying to better the place your at but turn your tail and head for the hills before someone steps on your toes again.

Mr.bond you don't know WTF you're talking about, in face you reiterrate my point of the maturity level on this board.

I've never claimed or stated my stuff is better than Jin. in fact, I admire jins work daily. He's inspired hundreds of us. Sonrays work, on the other hand, I could out-do with my eyes closed and a broken Q-Tip any day or night of the week. Don't believe me? Chances are you already own something I've sculpted...Early generations of Spawn figures.

Anyhow...Check other boards for my stuff and updates. Moderators on this website...need to **** moderate, or you'll continue to have the same idiots posting forever.

I do think the problem with the "same posts" from people is really no ones fault. The lack of a competent search engine makes it impossible to see if something has been posted before. There are times when you have an identical thread 2 or 3 posts down from each other which is a little annoying but hopefully when, and if the search engine is fixed a lot of that will be a thing of the past.

someone posts something, then they get a few "nice job", etc.
then sonray comes along and tells the artist what they 'should or could have done' and that his methods are better, or the the only 'right way to do it'
then sherade makes some meaningless comment about sonrays comment, then sonray remarks back, and this goes on until the thread is 4+ pages long.

yes, I pick fights with Sonray, because his ego is through the roof because he got lucky on his custom SS and throws out the fact he got $150 for it on ebay, it's immature, and I see no reason for the rest of you guys to have to read the nonsense. He's never given a constructive remark, or technique or tutorial, it's old, and his 7k+ posts go to show, no one seems to give a ****.

Can't say i've seen any of this HOWEVER ... for you to say they all out do his, well that's just your personal opinion.

I like the thought of someone speaking up and saying what they don't like about a certain custom instead of the typical "you rock!" "you're the best!" and all those other butt kissing posts.

Nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion and expressing it in a civil manner. Now I don't know if he does it in a civil manner or not but that's really for the Mods to deal with isn't it?

I appreciate opinions that conflict. It's a matter of how they are debated that can be troublesome. I don't see anything constructive about name calling, but people do it and I deal with because, for me, it's worth it. I love TF fans and I love bashers. I just wish more of us felt a sort of kinship like I do. All of you guys are just the greatest and I really hate to see any of us leaving. I'd rather see us agree to disagree and celebrate each other's differences instead of being petty, personal, jealous, and argumentative for the sake of arguing. Rumble I'm gonna PM you, K? But if your not a fan of the site, well good journey, to me it's still the best one for this fandome in general.

As for the kids here, well, I find that if you talk with them you educate them, I've had some good talks with Sonray and Sherrade, so what if they feel like padding a post count, they still have good imput on average.

But whatever, to each their own.


Oh and also, most metals are reflective, but they won't shine without being polished, or refined from their natural state

I can't say anything about the personal attacks and opinions on Sonray, but I can say I fully applaud that you decided to stand up and say something.

I'm glad you stood up and struck back, but you basically attacked all of us personally with your comments about the board.

Nope. Alkali metals oxidise in SECONDS. They're not shiny. Aluminium isn't shiny. Lead isn't shiny.

You yak on about "maturity" and how i apparently always cause arguments and you never have anything to do with them and you are the innocent victim in all this, yet you go and post a thread which is practically just flaming the whole site, its moderators, users and (once again for the millionth time) flaming me and my skills as a customizer while you babble on about how you can supposedly out do my work with your eyes closed which in turn (incase you miss all the positive feedback i get from users and other customizers/professionals) means that you are implying that you are better then 90% of other customizers out there and thus insulting their work as well.
And then you somehow find the fact that selling a $20 toy for $150 is some how "pathetic" or "a joke". Please explain the flaw behind making that huge of a profit on something that somebody enjoyed working on? Something that that artist was proud of, and enjoys sharing their good news with other people who are also passionate about what they do cos honestly im dumbfounded as i cant see the problem.

I'm not insulting the mods. I was merely pointing out the fact they if they do not moderate the boards properly they will end up with more Sonrays and less members who will benefit the board.

The banners aren't about paying for the hosting of the site. It's the owner(s) putting $$$ in his pocket. It costs $7 a year to host a web forum.

I've never insulted anyone besides Sonray I love the rest of your work! keep it up guys, don't give in to sonrayism and check my blogger for some cool tutorials, and updates in the next few days!

I still think all of this was illtimed, but necessary. If we start silencing our people here, we're doing a great misdeed. However, attacking the entire group because of a grievance with one person is an underhanded and ridiculous tactic.

I think both parties are hot tempered, egotistical, opinionated and need a break. Not just from here, but from the internet and each other.

If people online can get you this angry, then you need to take a break. I used to do this same crap when I first got on the internet, I was a prick (worse than I am now) and I learned the hard way.

I just put myself on a week long personal ban a couple of weeks ago and taking that break was a great idea.

More people ought to try it, you'd be surprised how much of your life is consumed by the internet and how much you get back just by taking a small rest.
