he rawks
He's big and shiny. He's got a reasonable amount of die cast and better use of it has been made then on Screamer. Mine (and AK's as far as I know) don't have any QC issues, which I was worried about considering all those people who reported problems with Screamer.
The extras are all nice to have in the set and despite my earlier reservations on him not having a silencer and stock, I now can see what folly that would be as with stock and silencer attached he'd be between 3 and 4 foot long!
Transformation is reasonably complex, but not difficult. He transforms in a very similar way to G1 Megs but has some intelligent changes made to that transformation, most notably the trigger.
His proportions in robot mode are the biggest downside. Like G1 Megs his fusion cannon is massive compared to the rest of his body. Also as we all knew from the online pics, his legs are quite skinny but not dreadfully so. I'd also say that his head/face is a wee bit on the thin side.
A few of the gun parts (on his hips and upper arms) will come off quite easilly during transformation as they are on ball joints, but are easy to reattach.
Articulation is good and the metal feet will help wiegh him down for those who will keep him in dramatic poses. Even so with the huge fusion cannon and skinny legs he has a danger of being top-heavy so be careful with posing as he might fall.

Elementary my dear Watson. MP Megs hopefully ships to the US & then to my house while I'm in Mexico. That way, I have no idea that he's there waiting & I don't have to get all fidgity over the fact that I'm in another country while he's im my room waiting to be transformed. See? It works out well for me. I hope..............
Haha, the worst part is having to sign for it. I just wanted to rip it out of the guys hands and run upstairs.
WHHHAAAAAAAAA???????? Sign for it? I'm not old enough to be signing papers, how in the pit am I supposed to sign for this?!?!? Sure, I have the money & the accounts to pay for this, but I'm not old enough to sign crap................

BTW, is there anyway to keep the red light in the usion cannon on w/o holding the button down?
According to this thread:

Hey it works!
Just got home from work. I'll start back at the Megs gallery here in a few minutes. I'll give the red light thing a shot and then replace the pictures that have my hand in them (cause I'm sure no one really wants to see my hairy arm in the pictures). Gallery should be online around 10 or 11pm central.
I wouldn't recommend this. This just broke the button on mine. I tried taking it apart because the button won't stay like it's supposed to. It feels like whatever trigger is behind the button snapped. I couldn't fully take the cannon apart because it feels like the front part is glued together. So I put it back together because it still looks OK. However, after I pushed the button back out, it somehow got pushed back in while I was putting it back together. The LED light no longer works on mine. And yes, the batteries are in correctly. The LED stopped working before I took it apart after I felt the button push in to far.
