I bought this at Botcon. It is awesome. But there is one major issue. The guns don't fit on the back of the bird. It's hard to explain but the holes in the tape have grooves that the weapon is supposed to slide into. But the grooves don't match. Some filing will be involved. And it would ruin the figure. Im not sure if this problem carries on to the regular version, or is exclusive to the SG version. Other than that the figure is great. Looks good in combined mode.

I bought em. They're pretty decent for the price. I think I would appreciate the normal versions better. Ran out of cash on the last day of the con though. The only table I found still selling them didn't take plastic. Oops, heh.

Is anyone else who has either version of this mold having problems getting the guns to fit on the back of the bird ? Is this a mold issue or did I just get a dud ? (I bought the SG version at the Botcon hotel 3rd party rooms)

That an issue on all of them, even the regular ones. Just apply a lot of pressure and they'll go in. It gets easier every time you try.

Thanks Ill try again. I hurt my fingers trying to force it in and gave up, lol.

It won't go in all the way, but it will go in enough to stick decently.
