Loved BadBat. Nothing's floppy on mine and he has great posability, especially compared to the other Ratbats I have. He looks great in my cassette collection.

I saw that. Thanks. But after getting two KFC bats and a cage for $44.99, I don't see how they can justify selling one purple bat for $39.99. Is KFC really selling them to BBTS at a higher rate, or is BBTS inflating the price based on hype ? Usually, I just bite the bullet and buy it, but the price seems to be flat out insulting. They're not selling it at normal KFC prices. They're selling it at "I don't want to buy a Soundblaster" prices. That's kind of shady. I'm currently awaiting a replacement for their orange Wingthing bat from BBTS. one wing was so loose it kept flopping. The blue bat had tighter joints. But honestly I wasn't too impressed with the mold. I'm leaning closer to buying MP SoundBlaster just for the Ratbat. In the G1 toys, Wingthing was a different mold from Ratbat anyways. Hopefully someone announces a KO MP Ratbat before I give in...

edit: I just read the "black" thing. I don't know why I didn't catch it before. I probably thought it was an early prototype shot from a long time ago.

Chimungmung have this listed on their website with photos as Badbat (purple Ratbat) with silver painted 'Radar' (although their photo shows the gold version!!) and Black Badbat (all black version) sold as a 2 pack for $34.90 and $8 worldwide shipping.

So in order to get BadBat, I either need to buy a Soundwave made from a mold that had no business being Soundwave, or I need to buy a two-pack with an all black BadBat that I have no desire for...

If they were going to keep BadBat exclusive to their Soundwave... Well, I wouldn't like it, but whatever. Exclusivity like that is a thing, and I get it. It moves figures. Think of all of the Soundblasters that Takara is selling to people who just want the Ratbat!

But these two-packs show that KFC wasn't concerned about keeping BadBat exclusive to Soundwave. But instead, I'd have to get a useless repaint and I get to pay $40.00? No thank you. I'd have happily paid $20.00 for just BadBat. But $40.00 for BadBat and a useless black copy is not an acceptable expense to me.

Ah, well. The last hope, I suppose, is anyone who did but that Soundwave-ish thing, wants the black BadBat, and then has an extra purple one to offload.

How did you get the head inside its compartment without snapping it ? I went through 2 perceptors before agreeing to a store credit with BBTS. That neck issue ruins the mold in my opinion.

Really ? Well I guess since the mold as soundwave wasnt a big seller, few people know about the fixes. Did you buy either of the two original colors ?
