daimchoc wrote:From KFCBad Bat
Bad Bat exists in two universes. In one he is still a free agent, trying to survive the Clan warfare destroying the planet. In the other he is bound to Vox, trapped in a cassette form and vowing to one day be free.

THis gives me hope that he'll be released individually at some point.

I don't need him to be a cassette deck, I just can't accept him as a microscope.
megatronus wrote:For me, it's the difference between an official portrayal and a 3rd Party product. I can let go of Soundwave being a tape deck, but if you're going to make a Soundwave, at least hew to one of his official alt modes. And if you're going to make cassettes for the Soundwave you make, make sure they're compatible.

I just said I don't care about the tape deck either. But a microscope makes no sense (to the extent that any of his modes "make sense").synapse wrote:I guess I just don't care about the tape deck at all. And the cybertronian car that's become sort of his official alt mode since WfC could change again anytime soon in the comics, so...
Titanium Series Soundwave had a mini-cassete Laserbeak that fit into his chest. So why is it so beyond the pale here? I mean, we're going to get an MP Ratbat, which makes BadBat pointless.synapse wrote:Also, the cassettes are intented to be compatible with MP Soundwave, never with a deluxe. We all know that.
I'd rather KFC make him a traffic light than a Perceptor-style microscope...synapse wrote:Well, he was a, uh... cybertronian traffic light? in the first TF episode we ever watched

Intah-wib-buls?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I couldn't disagree more. Sonicron was ugly in robot mode, while KFC's Mugan mold provides a beautiful robot mode with, unfortunately, a simplistic transformation with a poor alt mode. But when I see that custom, I can see Blaster, while Sonicron never spoke "Soundwave" to me.

I agree, this mould works way better as Blaster. Certainly prettier than my Device Label version.

megatronus wrote:Beauty really doesn't have any relevance here, it's about whether you can see this as the character it's intended to portray.
If you can see this as Blaster, then great. But I don't see it.
synapse wrote:Also, why people seem to accept as a proper Blaster that (voyager FoC) gorilla-Soundwave redeco is beyond me...

Definitely lame.megatronus wrote:
I'm trying to figure out if the blaster fitting over the gun is cool, or lame. I'm leaning towards lame.
