Alright, alot of people are saying the Decepticon killed for parts for Megatron was Overload, Hightower, Scrapper etc.
Who do you think it was? I dont think ill say who I think it is yet, ill wait for someone to actually post, if anyone bothers to read my posts I put so much time and effort into.

either high tower or scrapper but i guess we will find out on blu ray when its crystal clear and we can pause it

Just before they kill him, when he realizes what they just said, if you look you can see what looks like four large tires on his legs, with two being right at his hips, like the Scrapper toy.

And also when they commence to tearing him apart, at 1:48 in that video you see Long Haul throw a large wheel towards Megatron on the right side of the screen. Sure seems like Scrapper got the short end to me.

BTW, if true, that throws me for a serious loop about how Megs ends up with treads. But that's what it looks like in the clip. :-?

Ive seen this scene enough to be 100% positive that the one killed was scrapper. Hightower never transformers into robot mode in the movie, and his legends toy reveals that he has no legs, unlike the one killed. Right after Scalpel says to kill him, Long Haul rips off a leg from the bot. you can look the scene up on youtube. Out of the 6 bots who go down there, Scrapper is the only one who could have been killed.

I guess it would be correct to say that one version of scrapper was killer, as we see him trying to smash up Sam and co. in the desert later.

The discrepancy is at :14 we see scrapper in vehicle mode next to Mixmaster. But at :16 it is suddenly hightower next to mixmaster. At 0:28 if you watch who is jumping off the boat it is clearly scrapper as you can see his mace. and then when he is torn apart they somehow gave megatron treads. Looks like they tried both and a mistake in editing ended up with confusion.

My only concern is that there was NO scrapper on the boat. The was a wheeled excavator with a claw, I'm guessing this was His alt-mode? As stupid as that is lol 8-}

read my post and watch the vid scrapper is on the boat twice and hightower once. Then hightower never appears again till Devastator forms.

In another train of thought.. What's the object in the foreground when they first get to the ocean floor and Ravage swims close to? It doesn't seem to be attached to Megs, more like it's laying close by. It appears roughly 1:06 to 1:09 in the video I posted.

(Pet Peeve warning/rant* I hate how movies always portray nuke subs as running on the surface. They did that in Independence Day as well. These types of ships rarely surface since they generate their own oxygen and don't need to recharge batteries like a D/E boat would. They also operate better underwater in terms of speed and manuverability, as well as sensor systems.

Ok, well, go to google and type in ROTF constructicon size scale pics. You will see that Scrapper is one of the shortest. "Ze little one" Is Scrapper, because the scale is Scavenger, Long Haul, Scrapper, Mixmaster, Overlaod, (They mixed the two up on google) Rampage, and Hightower. Hightower did not go at the bottom of the ocean with the others. Only Long haul, Scrapper, Mixmaster, and Rampage. Rampage was seen tearing apart "ze little one" with Mixmaster, and Long haul was behind Ravage and Scalpel aka The Doctor. So whats the logical constructicon? SCRAPPER. :grin:

I don't doubt it's Scrapper. Looks just like him. What I am curious about is why is Scrapper then seen chasing Sam and Mikaela in Egypt? How many copies are there? They made this way too confusing.

Also who is the Red Volvo Excavator? Maybe that's "Ze Little one" and Scrapper never went down there? Way too confusing.

Also aren't the parts of Brawl down there as well? Maybe that's how Megs go treads if it was indeed Scrapper who was killed.

The identity of ze little one is a bit on the fraught side. It is a robot that looks like the EZ Scrapper and the concept art we've seen. If you pay attention to the part where "ze little one" is ripped apart you clearly see the tires bounce off the ocean floor.

I think a lot of people doubt that it is Scrapper even though it looks like him is because he doesn't have treads and Mega ended up with treads. :???:

Heres something I dont understand.

Bonecrusher, Brawl, Blackout and Megatron were all down there right? If there were 3 spare Decepticons why didnt they just use them for spare parts? Why kill someone whos still alive? Why not use the parts from the already dead Decepticons?

same reasons you can't get a transplant from a long dead corpse.

also maybe the others had damaged parts. imagine needind a total organ transplant. they could hope the bodys had all the pieces, or be guarenteed to have them.

I think I've read somewhere that the reason they had to kill "ze little one" for parts was because they also needed his living spark for Megatron. :???:

If they were to use Ze little one's spark for Megs, they wouldn't have had any need for the All Spark shard.

Maybe they needed vital parts that the Autobots made sure were destroyed before they disposed of the corpses. Like spark chambers or something.
