Just spotted this over on Chimungmung.com.
Fansproject City Commander armour has been knocked off once again but this time given a minimal colour scheme in white with black hands, chest and knees (correct me if Im wrong) with a couple of coloured touches here and there, as the picture appears to show.
Bundled with the armour comes a set of shoulder missle launchers in white and gold, a white sword and clear case with mini energon cubes!
Chimungmung.com have this set available for £39.90 with $20 worldwide shipping.

This set looks very interesting and makes for a very different take on the original Ultra Magnus armour. Perhaps inspired by the recent all white version of Classics Ultra Magnus?
Just need to see the set in full bot mode!

There was never specifically a Stormtrooper, but there were a few Clone Trooper transformers that, with a bit of paint, could possibly donate a head.
I suppose the things to consider would be if their ball joints are the same size as City Commander's (or if headsortails is willing to do a more complex mod to modify the size of the ball joint) and if the head would fit inside the City Commander mold when transformed into vehicle mode, as I would presume he'd want to keep it a functioning Transformer.
This needs to happen and I look forward to the photos!
Huh I could swear that I had seen one, however a quick Google confirmed you are correct. But hey the clone trooper route would work as well.

This new repaint looks pretty cool in my opinion, works really well with the black ansd silver of a KO Nemesis Prime too!![]()
The mold still suffers from the same loose shoulders and lower arms, so a little customzing will probably be necessary depending on your usage?
On that, does anyone have a link to anywhere that gives the best tutorial on making good the KO armour?![]()
Maybe because this repaint is still fresh and new, but I am finding myself preferring this version so much more than the Nemesis/Shadow Commander version!![]()

It sure does!
I looked over the figures I have on display after re-reading the comments about a Stormtrooper head, then spotted Classics Jetfire at the back of my Neo Wreckers shelf and thought that helmet might look good?![]()
The head of Classics Jetfire is on a ball joint also, but after checking, the ball joint of the armour is slightly larger and would not be able to accomodate 'fires noggin, plus it would look like a tribal shrunken head without the helmet and adding the helmet may have slight clearance problems?
Not sure if I will attempt to paint over the blue on his lower arms, perhaps if the entire lower arm(our) was totally white, that would look pretty good too?
The blue would work ok with a Classics Ultra Magnus figure but I wanted this guy to have black legs to match the black knee armour?![]()
Im pretty lazy when it comes to things like touch-ups which I really ought to get around to, but now my good lady wife and I have little baby Daniel to adore, my priorities have changed!
Im currently working on creating a hover board for Daniel, so he can reach 'Lookout Mountain'!

With the problems with CHMS quality in their early toys, and the social issues with KOToys, CHMS pretty much has dropped the name of their company from their products the last 2 years.
CHMS are the guys who made a lot of the FansProject copycat toys too (Protector at least, possibly the others).
Since they are a manufacturing house, they also lend their machines and people to other companies, like X-Transbots, Unique Toys and KFC. Those companies design their own molds, but then have CHMS do the manufacturing. None of these companies advertise that CHMS is their manufacturer, and they all watch their QC closely before releasing their products, but some people still hear "CHMS" and get all crazy about them making low quality toys from 3-4 years ago. It's really not fair, as the quality of X-Transbots, Unique Toys and KFC seem as good as any other third party company.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
