I am about to get either Good KOs of Metrotitan or Devastator. I can only afford either the good KO of metrotitan MISB, or the cheap 12$ Devy with reprolabels to spice it up. Then slowly buy CrazyDevy parts. What should I do?
KO Metrotitan MISB - 70$ shipping included
KO Devy + reprolabels - 43$ shipping included
I am definitely leaning to Metrotitan dure to rarity, but i normally like to hear other pipples thoughts. what do you think?
KO Metrotitan? Or KO Devy with Reprolabels?

As much as I'm adverse to buying KO's, if you're gonna buy CrazyDevy parts, get the Devastator, as the Metrotitan KO is an incomplete copy:
- Metrotitan came with a Micromaster called Metrobomb, the KO does not.
- Metrotitan came with a ramp to connect him to Micromaster bases, the KO does not.
- The KO is more pinkish than the original Metrotitan.
- The KO comes in a regular Metroplex box
- He's not a zombie!
All but the last are major dealbreakers in my book.

Re: KO Metrotitan? Or KO Devy with Reprolabels?
Some of the points Jeze lists as negative, others would think as a plus. Like the pink color. I think it's fantastic. I don't expect my KOs to be identical to the real thing, and when the differences are this big, I can treat it as a separate version. The box is surprisingly good. Sure, it's not Metrotitan, but the quality is great, and the cardboard is more solid than original Metroplex box.
It's obvious that the ones making this KO had Metroplex and not Metrotitan to work with.
I opened a KO Metrotitan yesterday, and had a lot of fun with it. There's some good things about it, some great things, and a few weak points. I'll post some pictures and a mini review later today, but initial report: KO Metrotitan well worth $70 (I gave $80 shipped).

Re: KO Metrotitan? Or KO Devy with Reprolabels?
First of all, the box is really sturdy. Feels very different from the original G1 boxes. The colors are a bit duller and darker, and this also goes for the stickers and instructions. Stickers were actually a bit disappointing. I may go for some Metroplex repro stickers one day, and just remove these.
The plastic has surprisingly good quality. Feels almost better than the plastic in original toy. The colors are obviously very... special. I like them, but I see that they are an acquired taste.
His joints are good, but he is a bit flimsy in some parts. Like the helicopter deck. Hard to describe really, as he has no problems with loose joints, just a few parts that seem a bit flimsy. The loosest joint is the upper waist joint. But this is minor. If I unpacked a vintage toy that was like this, I wouldn't be surprised.
I had to trim a few parts and guns with a knife to get them to match.
I really like this toy, and have no problem recommending it to those who like big, whacky colored robots.
