Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Kotobukiya 1/1 scale Hoi-Hoi san -- model kit review.

This cute little maid is Hoi-Hoi san. She's a robot specialised in dusting tiny spaces and to hunt down the occasional wandering bug.

At 1/1 scale, that would be her actual size.

This model kit was fairly easy to assemble despite needing crazy glue at some key places. Her hais was too "flesh" colored to my tastes and there wasn't much difference in colors with her skin. So I spray painted her hair with Krylon spray paint, "watermelon" color. As for her broom and sword, a simple layer of color did the job. Finally, a drop of black wash brough forth her mouth detail.

She comes with water decals for her apron brand, eyebrows, and eyelashes. But those details are already printed, as well as her eyes, making the decals sheet pointless.

She comes with a pair of open hands, a pair of closed fists, a broom, a gun, a katana, and 3 eyes plates.

Her posing is limited and she's quite back heavy.

As expected, she wear adorable bloomers.

Size-wise, she's about as big as a small deluxe transformers.

Contrary to the Windblade model kit, building and painting her was not a frustrating experience and was done quickly enough. Plus, the final results don't disappoint. The price was also pretty cheap. Cheaper than a deluxe Transformers (If I don't count shipping.) I'll be looking for the other girls of this series. :x

Perfect for hunting roaches! ;)

The decals are for the hardcore model builders that feel the need to go all in and remove seams, fill gaps, smooth out sprue points and repaint everything.

I'm far from being at that level. But yeah, it's true that the decals are a must if I repaint ALL the parts.
I did repainted some part, but the things I did was pretty light.

Fun fact. The Krylon can of Watermelon spray paint was bought YEARS ago for a custom that I gave up on. It was brand new, never used for anything. I was surprised it was still good.
