well i emailed them yesterday and still no responce...maybe its just still early so will have to wait and see but so far no reply on any email ive tried to contact kate through

Just got my shipping confirmation yesterday for my 3 DIY sideswipe/sunstreaker/punch/breakdown kits. I got the buy 2 get i free deal they were running a while back. i ordered on dec 4 so it seem they really are backed up. patience

my order was 26** tho and seems to be taking an age to show up and ive not had a tracking number given

ive asked kate about it but again...her english isnt that great

The communication from KOToys isn't always that great. But I've had them bend over backwards to satisfy me on an order of mine.

Is this a new order we're talking about or one made before the store closure?

it was made pretty much on the day kotoys said that it started the black friday thingy

hence why im alittle worried. ive never had problems with them before but it seems odd i was number 26 and mine hasnt shown up yet

i tried to email them about ordering more stuff with no reply sadly....

I think they'll come through, but it may take a while. If you're really getting antsy and it gets close to 40 days, you may have to use Paypal to resolve things. However, if you e-mail them that you're planning that, you may also get a response.

I received my notice of my items shipping out yesterday with tracking number. I went cheap with this order and got the slowest shipping available. It should be close to a month before I can enjoy my rain markers set.

thanks for rubbing that in...i SERIOUSLY wanted the rainmakers and death starscream. they were in my kart but then next day everything got pulled...

i went slowest method via shipping but i always pick that option and usually i get the items within 4 weeks but it seems to be taking alittle longer. Im just worried its going to show up here at THIS house when were moving at the end of jan

I'm sorry Swindle01, I wasn't trying to rub that in or sound like I was bragging in any way. I just wanted to help in sure people that had placed an order that they will get them (at least I hope). I placed my order on the 15th and got the noticed last night.

I'm also not trying to rub it in anyone's face, but just like Alley Viper, I placed an order on the 15th for Double SG Prime and SG Roddy. Got my confirmation last night from "k". Says it'll be here in 10-20 days.

Again, I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad, just giving a little hope to people who also placed orders late like I did.

You can still make orders with them, i FINALLY got an answer today but it was alittle...vauge....

apparently some stuff i can order while other stuff i cannot order...right....

also prices have been pushed back to there normal prices annoyingly. You would think that considering they cannot sell these on the website anymore that they would continue to sell the items to there loyal customers at the BF prices as a reward for being loyal and wanting to buy from them still

so there it is, you can buy from them still just not really clear on what you can and cant have

Why would they continue with BF prices? They're a business not a charity.

I don't know if you did them any favors by advertising this in public. They've been keen on keeping things on the down-low.

Hate to say it, but they're allowed to go out of business. Still, you can save up and buy off Aces. It sucks that you missed out on the sale, though.

I got what I ordered from KO Toys today. Hooray! The combined by 1st and 2nd last orders from the store in one large package. That's:

- The Rainmaker set
- Black Death Starscream
- and 3 clear Seekers

I got the three clear Seekers to replace the one from last year that's now broken. Buying three was the same price as buying one oddly enough and previous experience with the toy told me I'd want spares now that KO Toys was out of commission. Wouldn't you know it - parts from the Seekers I just got were broken - luckily I had my own broken Seeker to mine for parts.

Now all that's left is the preorder for the Dinocassettes and the cases from just before they shut down completely.

regarding the post that they're still accepting orders, does anyone know if they're still accepting orders on ko's? i emailed them with the hope of getting the last two dino cassettes but haven't heard back. i would think they would try to get rid of those so they're not sitting on a ton of stock. has anyone else tried to place an order through email?

KO Toys is out of business. But I wouldn't worry about the Dinocassettes. G1 KOs were around before KOToys and they'll likely be around now that KO Toys can't sell 'em. However, they did confirm that they are going to fill our the preorders they've already taken.

I have no idea what they'll do with their unsold inventory. It's anyone's guess, really. Unless one of the guys at KO Toys tells us all we can do is guess.

It's difficult to say it, but I think it's better that KOToys is now a nonexistent entity to the fandom at large. To those that were members of their forum, it was the golden age, and we lived it to its potential. CHMS is now X-Transbots.

i completely understand everyone's viewpoints against ko's. my collection is ko free. i have always really wanted to get the noise/graphy dino cassettes and being that they were never released in the US, i don't have a problem getting the ko version.

well my stuff arrived today, the last day before the new year. so i guess these are the final transformers i will recive in 2011

I got Crystal henkei convoy - amazing but very fragile
botcon evil optimus prime - i LOVE this
DIA convoy - again i love this
Gentei henkei wildrider - its nice but not as cool as evil hotrod

i also got a crystal DIY classics hotrod kit i plan to make into a sons of cybertron version but in the anime colors if possible


really sad kotoys has gone...this package today has reminded me of the joys ko brings and that i never get this feeling with anything from hasbro or takara

I put in my order on December 19th for two of the Reflector sets and I still haven't gotten a shipping notice. My order number is 322* and I picked the cheapest shipping so I don't even know if I'd get a shipping notice.

I'm giving it until February 1st until I dispute it on Paypal. Any later and I can't get my money back.

It may grease the wheels if you told them this. I always pick the cheapest shipping option with them and always get a tracking number. The only time I didn't was when they lost my order.
