Hi everybody! It's been forever since I posted anything here (mostly because I never finished any of the dozens of custom Transformers I started) but these Kreo's & Kreon's are just too damn fun not to make! Plus, most of the official ones really suck. Some of the combiners have bits taken from others work so if you see something that you originated give a shout so I can thank you!
First up, smallest to largest, is Galvatron:
G1 Scourge:
Scorponok:
RiD Scourge (because Nemesis Prime sucks!):
Superion (admittedly, nothing much new here):
Defensor (with Groove only having 2 wheels):
Devastator (with all 6 members!):
Bruticus (See that Swindle? That's not Swindle! That's a G2 yellow Devastator taking his place so he can be on the shelf with all the other Swindles!):
And his awesome big gun:
And him holding Shockwave:
Predaking:
Abominus:
Piranacon (with all 6 members!):
Nautilator as a Targetmaster:
Omega Supreme:
Rocket Base Mode:
Metroplex:
His Massive Gun:
I wanted him to be truly a Kreon Metroplex so he's made from Kreon bases:
And to stand against Metroplex, Trypticon:
I used every Dark Energon piece I had on Trypticon, on his chest and tail:
Citybots together:
And a group shot for scale:
Omega Supreme stands a full head higher than Devastator and the Citybots dwarf him just as they should.
Waspinator here was underwhelming so with some pieces left over from the Terrorcons and the addition of his great big stripy behind and he's ready to get blown to bits and make planzzz.
Using the Autotrooper set I had nearly all the parts to make Jetfire/Skyfire:
A Kreon version of the only Optimus I had as a kid (and one of my all time favorites), Powermaster Optimus Prime! I even went so far as to make his back as accurate as possible.
Menasor's coming out soon enough and as with all the official combiners I assume it will suck. This is what I have so far of Menasor:
Not exactly a brilliant piece but it's ready for the rest, Nosecone is ready to be Computron's leg.
Grimlock! I've seen a lot of Grimlock's in bot mode using the Sentinel Prime chest so I had to do one better and make one of him in dinomode too. I haven't seen any T-Rex Grimlock Kreons out there but I didn't check or anything so if it's similar to anyone else's it's purely coincidental.
Grimlock and Trypticon (who now has the entire Dark Energon weapon incorporated into his body):
Inferno got a new body courtesy of Custom Kreon Ironhide. Now it's the same red as Universe 2.0 Inferno and stands out on the shelf better:
Bumblebee is a mix of the regular versions head and the Custom's body. The real reason I'm posting this is I built up the brick stand to make him appear shorter:
Soundwave and Starscream withe their Custom bodies:
Megatron with his Custom body and face plus a new fusion cannon and back cannon:
And the Lost Lights resident badasses, Skids and Whirl. Nothing terribly original about these two and I consider them works in progress until I get better parts:

Grimlock's T. rex mode, Omega Supreme, and Metroplex are awesome! Your Trypticon inspired me to make my own, though I've done a completely different route.
Got a Hot Rod from eBay and after about 20 minutes decided to make him Rodimus Prime!
Then I beefed up my spare Nemesis Prime into RiD Scourge in botmode. He's totally separate from the altmode Scourge I first made so I have them on the shelf together!
Having worked out the truck-chest on Scourge got me to finally finish up my Ultra Magnus. The only non-Kreo part I've used so far is on his chest and I just can't bring myself to paint pieces (it feels like cheating to me) so he's as good as he's going to get for now but he has his cab on his back and that's enough for now!
Finally, Powermaster Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Nemesis Prime, and Rodimus Prime all stand shoulder to shoulder (or there abouts)!

In my exhausted rush to get to bed last night, I totally forgot my new bigger Galvatron and the Magnus hammer! Rodimus Prime can't stand off against a shrimp (despite what Hasbro seems to think).
Okay, so minor update. Rather than have all my pics randomly disappear because of Photobucket's bandwidth limits again I started a Zod Convoy page on Facebook so now I can just post links off of that. Yay, shortcuts! I'll be posting a couple new Kreons soon.
I wasn't expecting to have anything to post this quickly but I went to my favorite comic book store (Atomic City in Philadelphia) and they had not just blindbags of series 4 but Menasor and Computron! Needless to say, I left having spent way more than I originally intended to.
I've been looking forward to Menasor for a long time. I've had him 2/5th done forever and I had to make sure the rest matched. Almost no part of him is according to the instructions because Hasbro just wasn't trying. Anyway, I really wanted Menasor to have that "giant robot with cars stuck to him" look from the G1 cartoon. It always looked like they were just Minicons on Motormaster. I think I pulled it off.
Finally there's Computron. Now, as with every other Autobot combiner, I never cared for Computron. The Technobots are just so... boring. And their gestalt form lacks... fun. I just never really found them interesting. That said, I put way more effort into making them look good then I expected and ended up pleased with the results. Plus, now I don't have a random tunneling foot sitting on my table so there's that.
Until they make the Pretender Monsters, I think I may have enough combiners on my shelf for now.
RAcast wrote:Okay, that Menasor? It's GLORIOUS! And Computron (my favorite G1 gestalt ) looks fantastic too.
Did you have to use many extra parts for these?
Thank you! Menasor used a LOT of extra parts. The entire Motormaster piece was done back in October. Dragstrip was laid out then too but I swapped out most of the parts with the ones that came with the set. The rest of the STunticons and I think just about all of Computron (except for Nosecone) came from the official sets. Computron shouldn't be too hard for you to make very similar to mine. I really focused on Strafe since there isn't much wiggle room on Lightspeed and Afterburner. There's only so much you can do with wheels!
I changed up Sludge's legs so they weren't so skinny and add more mass to his thunderous legs. I also made a Slag but I'm not sure if I'm going to change it up yet. That crest kinda bugs me.
Okay, I have a job interview in 10 hours and can't sleep so what do I do? Finish my Kreon Dinobots of course! So here's Snarl to join Grimlock, Slag, Sludge, and Swoop!
A few more. A new helmet for Drift to make him look more Drifty, the Powerglide face I wanted to use for Tailgate, and an updated Jetfire using the parts of Jetwash (who has a ridiculous name.)
I realized how many Lost Light characters I've made lately so I made the late Pipes last night. Poor little fella.
I didn't get to go to Retrocon today because I threw my back out at work so I finally got around to making a new Kreon and I have to tell you, he was a pain in the ass! So without further ado I bring you OVERLORD!
Without the plane on his arm:
With a couple of Wreckers for scale:
With my Ultra Magnus:
Poor Pipes...
The helmet comes from Class of 1984 Rumble and the face is that of '84 Magnus and those hands are links from the bendy neck of the snake that came with the Beast Hunters Windcharger set. I was actually hoping to use that helmet for Ultra Magnus but the blue is just too dark. Overlord is my tallest Kreon yet that's not a Combiner or Citybot. That's about as tall as I can make one and not have the single torso piece look too silly.
Because Overlord on his own wasn't enough Phase Sixer goodness, I bring you Sixshot!
With Overlord:
Don't hold your breath for a Black Shadow, though. The most memorable thing about him to me it that he was talked to death with a lullaby. Not exactly badass material.
After some helpful constructive criticism (on 4chan no less!) I change Sixshot's chest piece which led to a chain reaction of part changing.
Sixshot 2.0:
Slipstream:
Rumble & Frenzy with new helmets that don't look so comically large:
Class of 1984 Megatron upgraded:
And I finally finished my Sky Lynx after, like, forever:
Sky Lynx was waiting until I found a Beast Hunters Ripclaw Strike set for cheap enough. The tail parts from the dragon were used for the neck and tail.
Now that I have Rumble and Frenzy from the Class of 1984 set, I figured I finally have to make some others. I have a crappy Ratbat too but I'm going to keep working on it before I post it.
I got a few of the Botcon Kreons loose on eBay and made a few new Kreons!
My Beast Wars characters now have a rat problem. We're all gonna die...
Cheetor with his new helmet (because those animal heads suck as helmets) and Rattrap that isn't a lightcycle from TRON:Legacy.
Got Strika solely to make into the best damn Wrecker ever, IMPACTOR!
From Gigatron, I got the helmet I needed to complete my Ultra Magnus!
Made a Matrix for Rodimus. Now the real problem: which legs for Magnus?
With the blue helmet, I don't think he has too much blue overall but I'm not sure about the red legs. Both are G1 accurate so either way would work in the long run but feedback would be appreciated.
And finally, a rare opportunity for me to show an official version next to one of my completely original versions. I think you could guess which I prefer.
I forgot the Reflector I made to go with my Decepticons.
With my Ultra Magnus finally finished, I figured I'd take a pic of my Movie cast, minus the other Dinobots. Still waiting on a Wheelie and it's hard to make a Wreck-Gar without painting or modding anything. I have one planned but it's not sorted out yet.
Some Wreckers. Well, and Kup's crew from All Hail Megatron.
After I took that, I made a Pyro. I didn't feel like putting all the Wreckers back together though.
