I just spotted this over at BBTS:
Transforming Sushi / Osushi Sentai Sharida.

I'm not sure if that qualifies as official 'Transformers' news or not, but they are produced by Takara.

So years ago McDonald's gave us years ago transforming McDonald's food which was successful I believe and now Takara gives America and the world transforming sushi...awesome! ;)^

Now all that is missing is the transforming bottle of saki and make some kind of box set or traditional box that it would all come in.

Yep, I remember those McDonalds toys. They did that at least twice that I can distinctly remember. Those things were awesome
