Hi all.
First off, I'm sorry if this should be else where, but here seemed like a good idea.
Right, I've had my eye on leader class Brawl since I first saw it here in about July (I think it was then, give or take a few months). I've just got a few questions first (one of which may turn into a slight rant....)

1: When in the name of all that's holy will it be sent to the UK?! I've ben waiting for months! All I can find is leader class megatron and the UK Night-fighter Prime (the blue one....I can't remember the exact name) So yes, if anyone can tell me when it arrives here, please could you tell me. (I've tried Ebay hundreds of times and failed misserably, I can't buy from over seas after someone thought it would be a good idea to try and steal all my money)

2a:Is it worth the £40 it's been advertised as? I know the colours are slightly off, but I can fix that, but is it worth the money? Are there any faults, ect that make you wish you hadn't spent the cash?
2b:Should I wait even longer to get the Deep Desert Attack version? Is there any major difference other than the colour (which, I actually prefer, it looks more like camo and less like crayon) on it?

Can't help you with your first one, but he's a fantastic fig.

Plus:
-Huge, heavy, loaded w/ weapons and detail in both modes
-Nice robot mode poseability, looks extremely menacing
-The sound effects are great, very "realistic" (I've never actually heard an alien tank-robot shoot stuff up, but they sound real enough to me).
-A couple nice little weapon details I inititally overlooked- the arm-mounted chain gun swivels out and his shin blades.

Minus:
-Transforming back to alt mode is a PITA, esp. the arms. Prepare to spend lots of time (possibly w/ a hobby knife like I did) if you want everything lined up perfectly.
-Head automorphs in alt mode if you think about it. The lever on the front has a hair trigger that pops the head about halfway up in alt mode. I cut the lever short so I would bump into it less, it does seem to help.
-The turret on his back in bot mode doesn't quite stay centered, it wants to lean right, throwing the shoulder cannons off-center a bit.
-Expensive
-Lights are lame, as are the clear weapon bits. Paint them black at least, like I did.

Personally, I prefer the original green camo, since it's more movie accurate. The desert camo looks great exc. for the awful Allspark blue parts in alt mode, totally out of place. Then again, you could paint them, too.

The above may show more minuses than pluses, but it really is a great fig, I love it. HTH.

All around he's a nice figure. Between the original and allspark version it all comes down to wich color you like more. Once you figure out exactly how to change him back into a tank the process is pretty easy.

In my opinion, as humble as it may be, Leader Brawl is the best toy of the entire movie line. I know, I know, the arms, and the swivel(ing) or lack thereof. I'm going to pick up Desert Brawl when I find him because I really like this toy. Not that that sways anyones opinions, but hell, more Leader Brawl for me.

I really really like Leader Brawl -- he looks great and is just bristling with guns. One of the few Transformers that looks legitimately mean. I would definitely hold off on getting Desert Brawl until you get a chance to see him in person, though. The Allspark blue is really jarring and kind of ruins the figure, and at least for me, pictures didn't really get that across.

Did Leader Brawl sell very well? The reason I'm asking is that amazon.com had it on heavy discount a few weeks ago (around $29 or so), so it might be worth checking every now and then to see if you can grab a good deal on the regular or desert versions. With the weak US Dollar, you could score it for like 21 GBP or so, even if it's not on sale, and you might still come out ahead after shipping. I've bought stuff from amazon.co.uk before and shipping to the US was reasonable.

I just tried amazon.co.uk and they had 4 DDA-Brawls and 2 second hand brawls in the UK. Only down side....the prices were ludicrosly extortionate...if I wait for Forbidden Planet UK to get some, I have to spend £35. If I buy now, the new DDA-B are £50, and the SECOND HAND normal leader-class are £65/£69 !! WTH?? But, I'm not sure if this does or doesn't include postage. Both of these are from the UK.

Still, if anyone could tell me when it arrives in the UK (everywhere, not just amazon and eBay) please tell me. I think I remeber a recent article saying something about the rest of the movie stuff arriving in the UK, I just can't remember when.

Wow, he's warming shelves here near Chicago. I see him all the time- Target and Walmart primarily, TRU sometimes.

What I meant was for you to check amazon.com, and order it from the US. The list price for Leader Brawl is $40, but the exchange rate works it out to 21 GBP, and hopefully shipping would not be too bad. I have ordered books, DVDs, and CDs that were not available in the US from amazon.co.uk, and even with the crappy (for me) exchange rate and shipping, I still came out ahead versus ordering from some importer here in the US. Just a thought.

Oh right...sorry! Well, I checked Amazon.com and the prices seem good in US$, and in the exchange rate, but I'm not sure what the delivery would end up as.

Last time I tried ordering from the US, with Games Workshop (for something only avaliable there), the total shipping charge was £19.50 - for something thats 28mm tall and weighs almost nothing....

I'll try again on the US and see if it will give me a delivery charge.

I've got Deep Desert Brawl, he's actually a pretty cool TF.

The Allspark blue paint does not ruin him, the fact that he's cream not tan does - cream doesn't really say desert camoflage to me, I still like him though.

Go for the original version.

He's out in the UK and has been since well before Christmas.

Keep looking, you'll find him.

Really? I have to say I'm slightly sceptical of that, but I'll go look for him. But really, its here?
I'll go look at TRU Wakey tomorrow, and hopefully leave with LC-Brawl.

Unfortunately, Amazon.com lists Leader Brawl as US-only shipping

I'm in the same situation as the OP - I never found him in the shops either (actually posted an availability question myself a couple of weeks ago).

If the Amazon Marketplace seller still has one available after I get paid, I'll buy from him instead Or just waid for Deep Desert Brawl, even though he's not movie colours.

Leader brawl is out and has been for a while but it is rare well atleast in my area I only ever found one and I bought it right away. It is a good figure but it has a few problems like I cant line up the side panels for his tank mode.

Autoclot, I know how you feel. However, what annoys me more is how some of the sellers on amazon.com say that they can sell to anywhere in the world, but in practice, they won't. That's annoying. Hasbro.com won't let me order it either, despite what they say on their website.

And, munkimus prime and HugeBadWolf, where have you seen/found them? As I said, everywhere I checked doesn't have it and says it isn't out in the UK yet. Even Hasbro.co.uk says it hasn't been released here yet. So, if you tell me where you found it, that would be good.

But, like I said, this was before Xmas.

Someone said to me today that they were avalibale in some places before Christmas for a very short period of time like you said. They said it was about 15 TRUs in the whole of the UK, and then it was down to about 10 Brawl's per store.

I like Leader Brawl so much, I'd buy him a desert-painted brother if I had the $$$.

The transformation back to tank mode seemed poorly done at first. The arms didn't go in like they should, and the forward skirt wouldn't stay in place. But eventually I realized the problem was operator error and haven't had any trouble since.

The only joint on mine that is loose so as to flop is one of his toes.

The clear and light gray parts are kind of ick, but not bad enough to motivate me to paint over them yet.

Big Plus: He can hold a deluxe transformer in each hand. I had him posed for a while gripping movie Bumblebee in by the waist in one claw, and swinging movie Longarm in truck mode by his hook like a war flail.
