How could it have aired in the early 90s if it didn't come out until after Beast Wars had already started in the lated 90s?Scatterlung wrote:GetterDragun wrote:Scatterlung wrote:GetterDragun wrote:I know the original post is wrong because Mr. T should be listed as the voice actor for Devestator.
Are you completely insane?
Devastator was voiced by Leslie Nielsen and you know it.
Surely you can't be serious...unless your talking about Generation 3.
No no, you moron.
Didn't you ever see the Machine Wars cartoon? It aired on Jetix back in the early 90s.
Leslie Nielsen as Devastator and he played a bunch of others.
Chris Rock was Optimus Prime.
Jesus, what're you doing here if you never saw the Machine Wars cartoon?
Besides, Devastator wasn't in the Machine Wars fiction. Only Optimus Prime, Megatron, Hubcap, Prowl, Soundwave, Mirage, Hoist, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Megaplex, and an uber-powerful Starscream appeared.
They were all brought back to life (except for Hubcap and Megaplex) fifty years after G1 ended, when Cybertron was finally at peace. Disgusted by this, Megatron shifted the battle to Earth, where the Autobots got allies with the U.S. military, their main human friend is a late-teenage juvenile deliquent (whom they're trying to turn around), and Megatron keeps coming up with one major conquest plot after another. Not to mention Starscream, who no longer works for Megatron, is huge, thanks to his new body rebuilt from the deceased Skyquake, and now has these grand-scale teleporting powers, making him like a living Space Bridge. Oh, that series is awesome.
