Not a Transformer at all, rather one of the Voltron lions. Based on the number "2" it's the red one.

To be fair I would have to say lets wait for the robot modes. But seeing as Trailbreker is holding him as a gun, I think these are way too small to be the clones. And Im not digging the Voltron likeness. I like Voltron, but don't feel a need to mix him with my Transformers characters. Besides, The original Voltron toy is all you really need. I never thought it needed an update as G1 Brick figures do. It's very posable and cartoon accurate.

3rd party Voltron! Why? Because we feel the need to see if Bandai will put up with this like HasTak seem to.

I find it unlikely I'll get this, but it's way too soon to tell.

I assume you are referring to the tank mode because the commander mode is boss.

This cat looks heads and tails ( :grin:

) better than the ravage BTS put out. I don't have palace for him though.

I love Voltron a lot, but big ass guns don't really work well with TFs that aren't designed for them.

Maybe if it was some kind of armour set it would have been a buy. But I just can't see a place for this for me.

Yeah this is REALLY cool. I always like it when robot figures actually can be posed like Cats. Moreover, this is a variation on the theme; Perhaps they're going to go the direction of the recent Voltron Force concept and have all of the different Lions able to form the Torso/Head. I am very interested to see where this goes...

Why do I get the feeling that the voltron lion was part of a bigger canceled project ? I just see no reason for the lion to be thrown in this set other than as an excuse to jack up the price a bit. Im getting a mech ideas vibe from these molds and they look like they should cost $70-80 for the set without the lion.
