The black gold and purple will match the Legionairs if I go with it. Then the Gold and Maroon again was my origional concept and looks better not yellow.
Lets decide on Eternus's colors

Just an idea... Though I do like the idea of combining them. I just don't like the contrast between the black, gold and red...
EDIT: Something more like this:

He'll have the new coloring of theminicon that comes with Vector a small buckler, two swords instead of one, and more styalized wings. The new head is more open faced but just a dramatic as the first.
O_o;; The minicon is white/light grey, black and shiny blue. That's it. >_>;; I own a -very cannibalized- Vector Prime after all... If you've seen any other color scheme, please... Show pics. (PM them to me even...)

What is making me like the right one better, though, is the alternate head option.
One dig... You colored the handle of the sword on the right one while he's holding it gold, but left the handle of the "floating" sword silver. Any reason or was that just a mistake?

for the final touches I want to add side armor to the waist to fill the empty space. I'ms sure a few of my gundam models wouldn't mind
The final pice should look pretty nice. It'll be interesting to see what all molded in detailing there really is that I can play off of with the paint job. So basic colorscheme chosen. final paint to come when figure is finished.
I'm tempted to say bring on the bling bling and paint him in all chrome and gold chrome

Speaking of which; and not trying to go off of topic here too much; do you think that maybe sometime down the road we could have a series of toys that feature the Transtopians in their Pre-Transtopia forms (War Within)? The aforementioned Eternus would be one and others like Shuriken and such as well would fill in the line...how does that sound?
BTW, I say you should still go with the one on the left...it just looks better. And if you can color it here, it shouldn't be that hard to color in the comic. We've progressed a lot from the days of the "Grey Hulk".

Beastwars transmetal 2: maximal primus maximus
Maximus bot mode transforms to a ballista that combines with the chariot. The chariot maximus and the horse all combine into an armored centaur for Primus Maximus. (I'm sure the helmut will look familiar)
