The black gold and purple will match the Legionairs if I go with it. Then the Gold and Maroon again was my origional concept and looks better not yellow.
Lets decide on Eternus's colors

The actual paint will vary in color a little. I did my best I could with Flash.

I have an idea... Make 2. One in each color. A "dark/evil/corrupt" version... And another "not-so-corrupt looking" version. I mean... All the TF series to date do recolors. (Though now all the recolors are just re-iterations of their original characters.) So you could have one version and then the other come out later as, like, some special character that would be a prize for something of some kind.
Just an idea... Though I do like the idea of combining them. I just don't like the contrast between the black, gold and red...
EDIT: Something more like this:

The second version of eternus looks a bit diffrent. he'll be a diffrent kind of remold and white and gold. He'll have the new coloring of theminicon that comes with Vector a small buckler, two swords instead of one, and more styalized wings. The new head is more open faced but just a dramatic as the first.
I'm saving the sketches for later

O_o;; The minicon is white/light grey, black and shiny blue. That's it. >_>;; I own a -very cannibalized- Vector Prime after all... If you've seen any other color scheme, please... Show pics. (PM them to me even...)

Of the two pics, I definitely prefer the left (gold and maroon) colour scheme; though Eternus is essentially a bad guy, he certainly doesn't see it that way (as I understand it), and the lighter scheme, especially the gold, makes him look especially noble. That, and it's got the whole centurion theme going for it.

Whoa... O.o; I'm liking the left one... But the right I like, too. Too hard to choose. x.x;*
What is making me like the right one better, though, is the alternate head option.
One dig... You colored the handle of the sword on the right one while he's holding it gold, but left the handle of the "floating" sword silver. Any reason or was that just a mistake?

The thing to remember on this guy is he's not a finished piece. there are some extra littl details i really really really want to add. i just have no clue if they'll fit or not. Hopefully i can get the figure soon.
Started cutting pices for the legionair, just need some more molding materials. I ran out last month and need some more money for it.

Problem with this is the paint might look better than this color job, but it's got to be able to be colored for the comic. A good example of this is why the hulk started out green instead of grey as Stan Lee origionally intended. I'm thinking I'll go with the silver, black and brass(or gold whichever looks better).
for the final touches I want to add side armor to the waist to fill the empty space. I'ms sure a few of my gundam models wouldn't mind
. I want to remove the two little toe thingys from the feet and fil the hole making that look more solid and I want to add some straping to the arm armor.
The final pice should look pretty nice. It'll be interesting to see what all molded in detailing there really is that I can play off of with the paint job. So basic colorscheme chosen. final paint to come when figure is finished.
I'm tempted to say bring on the bling bling and paint him in all chrome and gold chrome

Speaking of which; and not trying to go off of topic here too much; do you think that maybe sometime down the road we could have a series of toys that feature the Transtopians in their Pre-Transtopia forms (War Within)? The aforementioned Eternus would be one and others like Shuriken and such as well would fill in the line...how does that sound?
BTW, I say you should still go with the one on the left...it just looks better. And if you can color it here, it shouldn't be that hard to color in the comic. We've progressed a lot from the days of the "Grey Hulk".

Thought I'd post a sketch of the origional Primus Maximus. The origional name and basis for Eternus. A few people expressed intrest in the character so here you go.
Beastwars transmetal 2: maximal primus maximus
Maximus bot mode transforms to a ballista that combines with the chariot. The chariot maximus and the horse all combine into an armored centaur for Primus Maximus. (I'm sure the helmut will look familiar)
