Finally, something good has come of Overload, wish I though of it. You could have it so Megs combines with Nemesis as well and perhaps the Jetfire mould could be changed to Starscream or Astrotrain??
As for the red jet, change of alleigence and you've got a funky looking thrust.
That overload/megs has really given me some inspiration!!!

I got a new one from our Japanese friends.. I really like the take on this custom, the person gave G2 Prime/Battle Convoy BT hands, and also gave him a swivelat his knees for more articulation.

I like the G2 Prime redesign...that's nice.
But I really like the Energon Prime remade into Soundwave (with the Overload Megatron); that's a great use for that otherwise useless toy IMHO.

EDIT: Also, there's transformers.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/imgboard.cgi which probably no longer has customs (probably because they created Livedoor just for that purpose), they might have interesting custom transformations done that might give you some ideas. Copy and paste the link.

I think that the guy who made the scratchbuilt Ultra Megatron should use the Hybrid Galaxy Convoy to make his own Star Convoy scale-sized to it. (At least, this is going by what I remember, thinking that Ultra Megatron is much, much larger than Star Convoy)

I would say no, simply because if you look close you can still see the blue in some places. Looks bad ass though. I much prefer the Soundblaster colors to Soundwave.

I love the Soundblaster!!! It's definately painted, even without the blue showing it's still fairly obvious.
As for using the Cybertron Defense Red Alert for Megatron, I don't know, I mean it looks good, but the mold says soundwave to me for some reason

well, he looks like his MW incarnation, he has the head, fitting alt. mode IMO and the cannon on his shoulder.
