here's a deadend cab mod that I am going to be using on Sunstreaker.

And I did a little of the trunk mod to get it to come part way over his sholders. Couldn't go any further without the rear windshield hitting the back of his head. It still helps a lot though.

And it didn't effect his alt mode at all either.

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but there's a quick mod for the Grim-jack mold that let's the doors slide out a little further on the shoulders. It keeps them scraping on the fenders if you rotate the arms to far up. It's not quite as extensive as TFMaster's door mod.

It might be a couple of days before I'll have a chance to get a picture of it. Maybe somebody else who know's what I'm talking about, and has done the same thing can get some pics of it.

um, not sure what exactly you wanted, so here you go. I haven't glued the roof to the front windshield yet, its still detachable.

And heres a picture of the rear window where I sawed it off. Notice how much closer the trunk/backpack can get to the body with a little trunk mod.

Oh, one more mod I did while I was at it was I unscrewed the trunk and shaved down the hinges so you can actually open it in car mode. It feels like its spring loaded to close and theres no real room inside the trunk but I still like it more now. Now its more like smokescreens trunk.

And this pic lets you see the parts I trimed off part right at the top of the trunk.

And heres the last pic, I promise. It just shows an angle shot of his chest so you can see it isn't just flat.

What did you use to cut the roof with? It's very clean cut great work.

I love how you gave dead end a targa top

you shouldn't glue it on IMO, just leave it removable!!

Thanks. I used a saw frame with 8/0 sawblades. Afterwards I did some very light sanding with 1000 grit paper (i think its ment for sanding paint).

Actually, the missile launcher minicon, took it and did a little rework and paint work. I'm pleased with how it turnd out.

I've done the door mod but I don't know if anyone else has made it so the door's can swivel on the shoulder peg.

I trimed down the blocky ness of the peg that the screw goes into and the stopper lip off to the side of it (Screw port peg).

With both mods done the shoulder/door mount can now swivel around on the peg I've only done this with Wheeljack and not grimlock so If needed I can do before and after shots.

I had to do that to allow the doors to fold behind the arms so yea...I did that already.
