Okay, now you're getting out of hand.

He was joking and you're just looking for a fight. Cut it out or I'm reporting you.

he only person not having fun here is you. The rest of us are being sarcastic and using exaggeration in our posts. If you can't get that figured out, that's one thing. You're choosing not to, however.

You're the one baiting and it's getting tiresome. No one's going to fight with you, so you might as well give up.

No, you're baiting us under the pitiful guise of...whatever it is you're tying to use here.

And no one cares whether or not you liked the movie. When you took a joke and started using it to attack people, you crossed a line and your opinion became worthless to me and others.

Next one, I'm reporting.

Once again the ROTF haters are accusing others for insults.

Probably because its there to see. Why, if we dont like ROTF are we dismissed as ROTF HATERS...like we're the klu klux klan or something? That was a terrible, terrible film, it really is..and rather than speak out and tell them how bad it was, you'd sooner lap it up cos its got a few explosions and tell them you want more. I really do hope the 3rd is an improvement, i'll happily eat my words, Shockwaves a fave of mine...but with this team of people behind the wheel, it could go right over the cliff.... cue explosion.

Sexfighter, up until YOU weighed in NO ONE had made ANY comments directed AT YOU.

We were all just having a little bit of fun, absoloutely NOTHING derogatory was said, NO RULES were broken.

But if you feel that you have been personally vicitimised or that we went over board, then go ahead and file a complaint. I'll even pm Cyber Bishop and Counterpunch to make sure they see it and let them deal with it.

Or, you could just accept that we've had to put up with what you and many others have been ranting and raving like a broken record for years and suck it up and get over it.

Seibertronian Albershide let us know about an article on IGN with Lorenzo Di Bonavetura discussing the use of 3D technology and the type of humor we can expect in the Transformers 3. He also says there will be more action scenes.

"According to di Bonaventura, director Michael Bay's use of 3D technology this time around will take the franchise to the next level.

"It captures scenes in a way they haven't been captured before and here's a different sensibility to the movie as a result" he explained. "Michael is so awesome at shooting, the question originally was how the cameras would work because they're cumbersome. Look how long it took Jim Cameron to make one movie. All those things are quite daunting, but Michael figured out how to use the cameras in a day.

"We had a day early in pre-production set aside just so he could test the cameras and see what they were like. If you look at Avatar, the camera isn't sweeping around in the way Michael uses the camera, so we had to make sure it could do what Michael does. I think people are going to be pretty wowed by the result."

Aside from the 3D however, what will be different this time around?

"What you can expect is more comedy than we've ever had before" di Bonaventura revealed. "You can expect bigger action sequences than we've ever had before and you can expect a different character through-line for our lead because he's a little bit older and Rosie's a little bit older - there's a maturity there that didn't exist before.

"He's moved on to a new stage in his life with a job, and that's an interesting rite of passage, so I think it has the emotional elements that people are expecting of the movie, but they've moved forward in time, if you would."

More action is good-you wont hear me complaining about it as long as the action is actually CLEAR and not the blurry jumbles of silverware we had in previous offerings.

In terms of comedy, I have no problem with it if it is done like it was in the first movie. There were scenes that were actually quite amusing, such as the Autobots "stealthily" stomping around Sam's back yard and quietly bickering, or Ratchet throwing out that embarrassing comment about the "boy's pheromone levels". Unfortunately, the cleverness disappeared in ROTF and the comedy came across as juvenile or just plain lame in most cases. I hope this time that the comic relief is more like the former than the latter.

So what people are saying, if I got the gist here, is that EVERYONE pretty much admits that these movies are for children, only children, and that only a child would appreciate it.

Good to know ahead of time, I'll go see something else. Maybe something from Pixar.

This is all what they pretty much had said prior to it's release. Ugh  , I'm bettin' it's gonna be ROTF all over again. Why can't they do a film more along the lines of the first one. Oh well I guess, it'll make huge bank and keep Transformers relevant for years to come. But I got a huge feeling it's gonna be just as bad as ROTF.

The hell you say! A Transformers actually about the Transformers, pffftt..... who needs that when all the Transformers fans in the world are more concerned with how Sam will handle his new job and his new love interest. It's all about his coming of age story, thought you knew that.

Not really. Even in the beginning of G1, it was a matter of robots interacting with humans by accidentally bringing a war to the planet.

See bold text above. For us as fans this is all we should be concerned about. Personally, I like the diversity of the multiple universes and timelines- keeps it from getting boring and repetitive- but I would hate to see Transformers cease to exist.
