For anyone who's still looking for MP Roddy, I just left TRU and there were literally like 7 or 8 on the shelves.

Also, there's a TF Marvel Crossovers sale. Figures are only 7 bucks! I got Ghostrider, Spiderman (helicopter) and Iron Man (car). Haven't transformed them yet, but this sale was a pretty good excuse for me to fill out my Marvel TF line. I really liked the figures, but they were ridiculously expensive IMO. However, at 7 dollars a figure I'm hoping to find Hulk, Wolverine, Cap, and the Human Torch as well!

Been awhile since last post...

Just wanted to make y'all aware (in case you haven't been reading the main Toys Forum), there are $5 off coupons at leading retailers (so far K-mart and TRU) for DOTM purchases of $5.99 and above. These are in the aisles of the TF figures, so get yours while you can and rack up some savings, offer expires 10/16/11. I personally saw two packs of coupons at the Vets TRU this evening.

Also at said TRU, 4 - 5 Masterpiece Rodimus Prime, a few of the Battle for Cybertron 3-packs (Megs, OP, and BB), and the usual Generations/DOTM figures.

While I'm at it, I know in the past few months we've talked about having a meet and greet. I may have a good place for us to meet in Metairie in the near future, and am thinking Sundays might be best. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get the ball rolling for sometime in the next month. It'll be nice to meet a few more fans.

Hope you're all well, anxiously anticipating the new DOTM wave, Skyshadow/Junkion, TF Prime figures, latest 3rd party releases. Oh yeah, I finally gave in and got a Windcharger off of e-Bay, as well as ordered the Frenzy/Rumble set off of BBTS. Think the table is clear now... :KREMZEEK:

Hey guys,
If anyone still looking for Grapple, Strafe or Lugnut, the BR TJ Maxx had about 4 of each last night. I've been hitting up any CVS' that I pass, but no luck on Windcharger there either. Only one of the 4 I've stopped at even had a toy section.

Been to quite a few CVS's in the Metairie area and haven't seen a single Windcharger yet. I have seen tons of MP Roddies at the TRU on Vets though.

On an unrelated note, I love the new sig CB. Tyranitar is pretty awesome...though he's not quite what he used to be in the 4th Gen. Hippodon, IMO, is the superior sandstormer. But because I'm such a Silver/Gold/Crystal fanboy, Ttar will forever hold a special place in my heart...and in my teams, lol.

I've hit just about every CVS in the Capital City area... even the ones in North Baton Rouge... and found a whole lotta nothing. What's interesting is there's a TON of Batman Mask of the Phantasm toys out and about at these places though. Guess that shows about how often CVS gets in new stock.

Their TF selection is pretty poor, its basically all the stuff from the old store with a case of the last generations wave. No MP Roddy, but they did have Battle in Space if anyone still needs it. Sadly there's not even a shelf space for Roddy

Overall the new store is very nice!

Went to the Walmart on Vets and saw the new Human Alliance Basic wave. I was tempted to pick up Dragstrip, but changed my mind. Didn't see reverb, but along with Dragstrip, the green repaint of that 4 legged tank was there. I'm guessing someone beat me to Reverb.

Just saw the new 3 pack something Bot Brawl at TRU on Vets. I don't know the name of the set off hand, but it's the one that comes with battle damaged Bumblebee, Voyager Prime, and the grey Shockwave repaint. It's as underwhelming in person as it is looking at pics online. There are still many MP Roddy's there though. No sign of the new wave of Deluxes or HA Basics.

Also had the wife stop at Target to see if there were any of the new Deluxes there. Unfortunately, she didn't see them there either.

It's been a real dry spell for the past few months. C'mon Hasbro, release the Transformers Prime figures already!!!

Man, this thread has been dead lately (well...so has the toy aisle). Anyway, I managed to find a few HA Basic Reverbs at the Target on Vets. Also found Cyberfire BB at the Kmart on Vets (the one closest Walmart). Still looking for Darksteel though...

Ha! I was actually about to say the same thing. I was in Kenner this weekend and spotted the last wave of Generations, complete with Warpath, at the W Esplanade Wal-Mart. Also stopped by several CVS' to no avail.

Weird, I went to the Vets Target and only saw Special Ratchet and Armor Topspin. I guess someone beat me to Darksteel (the only one I was actually interested in). I also stopped by TRU and didn't see Undertow or Skyhammer. I did see Pinpoint, Sledge, and Chainclaw though. First time I ever saw any wave other than the first one for the PCC line at that TRU.

Found wave 2 of the Rescue Bots at the TRU on Vets. Only one there was Chase the Police Car though. I bought the last one and didn't see anymore.

I also saw some of what looks like new Marvel Crossovers figures of Ironman (apparently using Captain America's jeep mode) and War Machine (using the mold Ironman had in his two pack with Spidy). Not sure if it's actually new, but it was my first time seeing them ever.

I still haven't had any luck finding Darksteel. Does anyone know where he is?

Hey guys, it has been too long! I haven't been on the hunt lately (mainly because you can't get 3rd party stuff off the shelves), but look forward to the release of TF Prime figures.

So, this has been mentioned before, but I'd like to get a meet-up of New Orleans locals (and of course any others who want to make the trip) this month. Now that would be a TRUE SIGHTING! Anyways, I'm looking at Sundays, either the 13th or the 20th. We can meet up at BSI Comics in Metairie (across the street from Lakeside Mall) - they have a decent sized area on the second floor with tables and chairs, and are gracious enough to host a small group. We can also order some pizzas.

So, I'm looking at input from those who could potentially make it, which Sunday would be best. I think the 20th would give people enough time to plan, and it's also a bye week for the Saints (if that would be a deciding factor for anyone).

So, please leave your feedback. We've put this off waaaaay too long, and it'd be good to do before the mad holiday shopping season is in full effect.
