I stopped by the vets TRU.. Held Prime in my hands.. contemplated... looked at my checkbook, then had to put him back...
Crap...

They still had all the Chinese legends (one of each) and no Springer or Wheelie to be found.

You should have put him on Layaway, like I did here in Lafayette. Can't wait till payday.

The one in Lafayette does. I think the one on Vets should have it too. They're offering free Layaway for the holidays, so no $5 fee either.

The TRU layaway should be implemented in stores nationwide, so that might help you out.

Man, what I would give to see CB tearing up I-10 (or Vets) trying to get that Prime back in his hands.

Thanks for the heads up about MP Prime. I just picked him up from that TRU. Oddly enough, I'm almost positive I beat a fellow collector in picking him up. From the parking lot, I saw this guy walking fairly quickly to the TRU doors. I thought it was a bit odd, and picked up my pace as well. I may have been 3 feet in front of him. I could see from the corner of my eyes that he was following the same path as me. When I made it to the Transformers aisle, he was right behind me. As I picked up that lone MP Prime box, I could see the look of despair in his face.

I hated being "that guy" who ruins another collector's day. But...well, first come first serve I suppose.

Just got back from Marrero TRU and picked up one each of the GDO Legends, another set is still on the shelf. No MP-10 on the floor.

So, here's the weird thing. I asked the cashier about the GDO Deluxes and she said they have them in the stockroom but weren't allowed to sell them because they weren't coming up in their systems correctly (I know a few of y'all noticed this with Deluxes recently). Well this is affecting the Legends figures as well. After some discussion and waiting, the cashier went to the TF aisle and brought the shelf tag with her. It was for Cyberverse figs, but she was authorized to ring them up with that barcode ($5.99ea, so it's not like I didn't get the right price).

So, hopefully I have a Springer and Wheelie reserved whenever these issues get fixed, but these aren't hitting the floor until TRU corrects their issues.

That couldn't have been you that I beat to the Transformer aisle, was it CB? If so, sorry for not recognizing you. I would have at least said hi

Also, Necro, the employees at my TRU have been blaming Hurricane Isaac for screwing up their computer systems. I have a hard time believing the systems are STILL messed up because of Isaac though...

Nope, I was there earlier in the day.. Right after sithlord posted about it. It is good, it gives my wife something to get me for my birthday or Christmas.

Two cases of MP Thundercracker @ the WB TRU.. I pulled one case down to look at him but did not buy him.

Oh the sticker on the box read $69.99 but he scanned @ 74.99.

TRU on vets has about 10 MP Thundercrackers. 5 on the bottom shelf and 5 hidden above the racks. Also picked up the last TFP Entertainment Pack.

Me too, I saw Megs the other day across the river and almost bought him.. It is all good about the MP prime though.. If I come across another I will put him in layaway..

I picked up that Megatron from Marrero TRU today. Shame the others weren't available or the deluxe GDOs, but I'm sure I'll have other opportunities in the near future.

Also, went to a Family Dollar and they had the last wave of DOTM deluxes for $5/ea, with a sale through Saturday BOGO 50% off. Picked up Specialist Ratchet in case I want to try my hand at an Ironfist upgrade. Lots of Air Raid and Darksteel sitting there.

Yeah, with Christmas coming we should see a spike in TF related items hitting TRU.. Which Family Dollar did you hit?

TRU on Siegen Ln has a GDO Swerve, Hoist, and Silverstreak...

And so many damn MP Thundercrackers on the shelf, it makes the Sweeps look like a small operation!!! Pretty much anyone in BR that needs one should be able to stop by and get one. More shipment tonight and tomorrow, so maybe more GDOs and MP Prime might show up, buy couldn't get a confirmation.

Yeah the MP crackers are sitting on the shelves down here too.. The WB TRU had 4 on the shelf yesterday with at least 2 unopened boxes up top.

I stopped by the vets TRU @ lunchtime (still in front as I type this) and found a few things.

Restocked the following items
TF China Scouts (I only bought Dead End) and legends.
TF voyager figs (yes there is one Hot Spot so get over here and get it Wolf)
TF Prime deluxes (the wave with arachnid)
TF Prime 1st edition figs
