I nabbed the last Drift, but there are 4 OP. I like the design of OP, but he is just too small for my taste. Maybe I'll catch him in clearance one day.

Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Not unless you're looking for RID OP. Didn't see anything else if interest. What are you in the hunt for, CW Megs?
Not Thursday, but I was there yesterday around 1pm.
I'm always on the lookout for seibertron members while on the hunt. But other than grown people spending a lot of time at the TF section, there is no way to know.

Where at in GP? When I go out that way I always hit that tiny TRU express at the outlet mall.
Sometimes those express has random old stock.

Here is a slightly interesting thing about RID Drift. This is a shot from underneath in car mode or from behind in robot mode. But I noticed something odd while I was pegging in the swords. Look at the biceps swivels.
The left arm is different. This is the same side as the sword storage is on in robot mode. There is no difference in mobility. It's just an odd difference.
Can't say I've seen this reported before. But then again, it's pretty insignificant.

I'm kind of interested in RID Drift. I haven't bought any RID toys (though I may pick up the Japanese RID Nemesis Prime because I'm a sucker for black Primes.). How would you rate him? Like CB said earlier, there are a ton of them at the TrU here in Metairie, so I may swing by and pick him up tomorrow on my lunch break...

If I can rip off bwtf.com, then the TL;DR version would be...
I'm only picking up the RID figures that catch my eye, and that orange did indeed catch my eye. The only other RID figure that I own is Grimlock.
It is a simpler figure, but has a fun (if not predictable transformation). 7 steps on the back of the box. The way the front grill folds back reminds me of the PRID Vehicon, only without the automorph head pop up action. He has a fake chest/hood, but it is very cleverly used during transformation (doesn't just fold back and hide under the car like a few TF out there, looking at you PRID Smokescreen).
Good robot mode with very little kibble or very well integrated kibble. The roof folds back to become part of the legs and the arms has a little awkward side skirt in the way of the hands. But overall a very clean and posable robot mode. I love the side "sheath" sword storage. I don't have much of a reference other than the box art, but robot mode does scream for some paint apps.
Alt mode looks great and has under carriage sword storage (which I love) opposed to the weapons just pegging to the sides or top. I dig the alt modes of this line more than the robot modes. The whole line gives me a playskool vibe though. Still going check out those minicons when they are released.
I just happened to be up at 5:30 last saturday and watched the lastest episode. I have mixed feelings and it doesn't seem like a continuation of the prime series, but I didn't watch the beast hunters movie. I wish the show was available to watch online... dat time slot

Thanks for that review. I think I may end up getting him then; if for nothing else but to fight with RID Nemesis Prime. I was interested in Grimlock as well, but I just can't wrap my head around a Grimlock figure that isn't using a G1 color scheme. I MAY have let it slide if it were blue instead of green to reference the G2 toy...but that green is just hideous. Hopefully we get some type of G1 recolor of that figure because it really does look nice.

I have to keep making myself walk away from OP. I was impressed with Motormaster though. The transformstuon is a bit simple but feels powerful; seemed appropriate and was satisfying.
If I can continue to hold off on picking up OP (even with all this peer pressure); I'm thinking about making that odd duck evasion mode OP a stand in on my soon to be CW shelf.
He is my only AoE figure and has nowhere else to be right now. Speaking of that lip having so and so; does anyone know if there is a 3rd party head swap for him?
