Yeah, but It seems that the only one they've followed up on(as far as we know) Is the episode length.

It seems to me that they mostly listened to the critiques that were given on Facebook and YouTube, which primarily focused on the episodes being "too short" and the voice cast being "not the G1 actors" or "not *REAL* actors".

As such, we're getting a few more episodes of a slightly longer length, and a voice cast that includes the likes of Peter Cullen and, of all people, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, and Jason David Frank.

Whereas any and all complaints about things like the writing or the animation rendering have yet to be publicly acknowledged in any official capacity, when those were among the more severe problems of the CW cartoon.

I'm actually hyped for this! Overlord will get his second ever cartoon appearance and We'll get some Trypticon on Metroplex action!!! It has previously been revealed that Menasor is returning which is great because he was my favourite from my first watch of Combiner Wars Victorion, Computron and Devestator returning hopefully they'll get more screentime as individuals and Combined I actually watch Rob Dyke so it'll be interesting to see him in an actual role The biggest Draw for me has gotta be Fort Max as he might get some actual character outside of IDW and let's not forget the excellent Parody Freddery is sure to do

Haven't read the article on a CW follow up in this (impossibly) long thread.

But I hope they improve, like 500% or more.

Combiner Wars by Machinima was terrible.
- Combiners are killed easily
- Combiners don't combine, they're just bigger robots
- Combiners are no Transformers because they don't Transform (looking at you The Last Knight)
- Framerate is terrible, looks like a powerpoint slideshow
- Can't remember the voice acting so no opinion
- The 3d models are weak and simple
- The effects are worse than cheap, they're for free
- Fight animations are what I make in 3d by rotating some bones (aka terrible)
- They don't capture the feel of Combiners at all, the team should go watch a G1 episode with Devasator in it, build on that

My short opinion there.

I hope they improve atleast all those points.
Just finished watching Transformers Prime incl. Predacons Rising.
Excellent series, they're really creative and innovative with the action scenes, the fight choreography, the camera angels.
Choice of characters, story events.

Practically all fans love Combiners, so messing that up should be really hard work, but they succeeded, it sucks.

I would've given them props if Hasbro made a voyager sized Optimus Prime version of the one in this cartoon.

Anyway hopefully Titans Return (which is to late, the line almost ended) will be longer, have better models, effects and more than 1 frame per 3 seconds. That would be nice.

Courtesy of Den of Geek, we have the official poster for the upcoming Titans return webseries from Machinima. This is the sequel to the Combiner Wars series that got multitudes of hits across the internet and it comes just in time before the end of the Titans Return toyline. As you can see, Trypticon is front and centre along with returning favourites Optimus and Megatron. We also have a few screenshots showing the the style will remain similar to the previous Combiner Wars series.

Are you being serious? "How much of a role"? He had like two or three lines and got killed and then called a nerd in 2 minutes and DIED and stood in the background in the final 60 seconds of the finale.
