All being completely serious joking aside, I'm just sad knowing that Computron is gonna be wasted yet again.

I was gonna question why the Combiners are still here, but then I remembered -- model re-use.

The Combiners probably wont have any speaking lines, or just flashbacks/reused CW footage (thus the reason Voice Credits have to appear). Also how is Starscream around? I literally have not watched this since the final episode was uploaded. I thought he died at the end under Metroplex Hand.

I had the unfortunate privilege to have watch that garbage to the end hoping to find something valuable in it (Megatron and OP's awesome and epic [respectively] voice acting). And yes, the bit we saw of Metroplex was Murderblade guiding his arm to do what she seemed to do best.

And he's damn good at it, but it would be a little nice if just for once someone else was allowed to be Optimus for more than five seconds.
I actually vastly prefer both Garry Chalk and David Kaye to him. Sue me

Like Combiner Wars, sophisticated storytelling reveals more than meets the eye
Literally my reaction at reading that. At least Megatron is still the same. But this whole thing just seems too..... much, considering what the last series made. Cullen and Nelson? Fair enough. But all those? No. This can't be true.
I still want to hear more of the WFC Megatron voice. That guy was an amazing Megatron.

I'm kinda exited. I know there is some pessimism out there but I really like the Combiner Wars toys. I would be so happy to see characters I don't see enough of. Please hasbro, bring Sky Shadow and Hardhead to life! I want to know their story. It would be SO cool to see Sky Shadow as some kind of space pirate.

As the Combiner Wars cartoon pretty much focused primarily on non-Combiners, I'm not holding my breath for the Titans Return cartoon to focus all that much on either the Titans or the Titan Masters, even if Fort Max and Emissary have big name voice credits.WreckerJack wrote:I'm kinda exited. Ohhhhh Judd is voicing Hot Rod and Peters back in form Yayyyyy
Good to see Windy, Megs ,Menasor and the Mistress of Flame are returning from CW (gotta rewatch it before TR comes out tho) as I actually liked them in that show with the same voices nice! I wonder if Fort Max is gonna finally get some character and screentime as he had no much of either back in G1. Emissary appearing in the cast list is interesting since he's gonna be the first Titan Master outside of Promotional material to get proper screen time and God forbid actual character
I'm actually looking forward to seeing how this will turn out and I hope it won't flop as much as CW did (although I personally think that a majority of the previous shows hate is undeserved). I also hope Victorion returns as she both didn't get enough screentime in CW and has received very little character before or since the same applies with the Torchbearers.

I expect that the non-titan sized Headmasters we have listed will be primary characters but that they may seldom or never detach their heads. One Titan Master will be shown becoming a head as proof of concept.

I say level your expectations. The first season didn't set a high bar and we haven't yet got much reason to think this will be leaps and bounds more improved. So be cautiously optimistic.

I wouldn't expect to see an awful lot of TR toys -- the voice actor section only lists Fort Max, Emissary and Perceptor as new characters. Alongside Trypticon who is likely to roar rather than speak.
I don't think you have to list acting credits if you're just using archival footage, so I don't think voice acting credits for Computron, Devastator etc. mean it's going to be a flashback to the same scenes. I think more than likely they'll be in it for two seconds, say a line or two and leave.

I'm surprised practically no one here has brought up Jason Marnocha returning as Megatron, who was like the one and only really good, if not great, thing about the Combiner Wars cartoon.
Jon Bailey did fine as Optimus, but he's done better, much better, as Optimus in his own unofficial works, than he did in Combiner Wars. Marnocha's Megatron, however, was a pure joy and delight to behold.

A lot of people have mentioned it actually if you scroll though the past few pages since the announcement was made yesterday. Sure it was good. But I think its all relative. I think this series was so awful fans were grasping its straws to find anything redeemable. Marnocha's performance was good, yes. Many said they are glad he is returning (In reality Frank Welker probably just took a pass on this...wisely so)...But when you put it next to the train wreck that was CW the series, sure it seems like the greatest performance ever, when in reality it was just a good solid performance on par with anything from an actual animated series as opposed to a cut-rate web series, wasn't earth shattering IMHO. To his credit however, hopefully this gig will get him noticed so he can land some roles on actual animated series. If not he should definitely fire his agent.

I still stand by the premise that there is a really amazing animated series that can be created as a continuation of the original Sunbow animated series. Unfortunately I'm just to poor, and small in this world to get the attention of anyone that matters.
