Everything else from the rage set is awesome. I hate all the TFC devy heads so I bought the crazy devy head plus the purple barrel.

The Excellent Toys set comes with 2 heads. A smirking one:

Each head comes with a detachable red visor that looks OK. The head sculpts are wonderfully detailed, but don't mesh with the aesthetics of the set, IMHO. But, I love the G1-esque helmet design. So, I took an original Herc faceplate, modded one of the visors Excellent Toys provided, and ended up with this:

I may try and redo it, since there a couple little things I could have done better, and I still have the second head that came with the kit. But for now, I think this serves as a very decent replacement head for my Herc.

OK... I know that was completely off topic, but whatever :grin:

Maketoys' site shows Feb 2014. I assume this will be mid-to-late February. CNY started on January 31st and should be done by the 15th of February.

The molding plants may be in China, or other SE Asia countries. Chinese New Years is celebrated in many countries in SE Asia, affecting manufacturing and shipping in the region.

I think they have to plan for manufacturing, which is difficult right now with all the shutdowns. This is completely a guess based on my experiences in manufacturing in the past. I'm just counseling patience, though I know it's hard with awesome stuff! (I have been waiting for MakeToys Mobine stuff (got Paladin) for so long, so I know how you feel!

Oh yea Paladin haha I waited for that thing too. I'm really not impatient just responding to people thinking that it is cause of CNY. MAKETOYS themselves shouldn't not shutdown till the 15th but if their factory is and they're not putting up pre-orders cause of that it; makes me believe that they'll ship once they put it up. Which would be Awesome!

I just ordered their Gears and Swerve on their site. shipping was $18 bucks for the pair. so Shipping on this might be considerably more since it's so much bigger. I'll prob wait to see what the US retailers put it up for.
