Been playing with it since I got mine in August (?), and personally had no issues.

what become the front of the second tank & the lower legs for combined mode. The treads open & there are cavities you can shove the barrels in to. They don't seem to lock in anywhere, but it's storage. I personally hate the damned thing. The quality feels off. Connections are worse than you said. Mine even has multiple screws they didn't even bother putting in. #****

Glad I didn't buy this toy. What I saw in pics & Youtube videos turned me off on the toy. I just didn't like the hollow & thin low quality plastic on the toy.

The toy fails at its cross multi PCC combine selling point feature. the toy looks horrible with other PCC Core toys attached to its components.

I just got this and agree that the quality is completely lacking. That said, it looks great and is fun to play with, even though the PCC ports are so tight I'm worried I might break them...

There are tabs on the insides of those treads for the weapons so they don't rattle about.

It's finally happening, thank the hills and stars.

Chaos/Paladin is now, easily, one of my favorite 3P products! Some of the connectors are tighter than others, but I love the play-ability and options of this figure. Va'al, you were soooooo right! I am glad I got this guy. (Now, please, please, please fulfill the Mobine Jungle orders, MakeToys!!!) I dragged out my old Titanium figure for some pics. Enjoy. (I gotta get a better camera if I'm going to do pics like this...)


Of note in this pic, besides the fact that Chaos towers over Titanium Fallen is the ability to attach the arms of Chaos and not see the PCC Connectors. Sure, the tank treads are now visible, but hey, this is a Transformer and some of the vehicle parts should be visible, right? Also, the camera flash brings out the purple highlights much more than in person, where they are far more subtle. (I'm thinking of getting some black cloth material to put along the back between the tank connectors. I think that would look awesome! I also want to do something with a flame effect above the back. The flame paint was one thing I loved about the Titanium figure.) Chaos is holding Master Shooters Mega-Gun.

All three vehicles are approximately the same size.





Other requests for comparison shots? (I wish the purple was this brilliant in person. I kind of like it.)

Just got Chaos/Paladin and the marine Mobine unit. Simply put; both are spectacular. The plastics are the same as the trailer. It feels light, but it's plenty strong for actual play and the force it occasionally takes to "train" certain connections to get along (Paladin can totally hold the twin blades).

I've only run into one truly weak PCC connection (a little glue therapy on the port's gripping ridges fixed that) and a couple that were frighteningly strong. There are a few tabs where a little thickening would sweeten things.

I'm happy to report that the marine unit works fine with Heavytread (not that I won't still pray for jungle to reappear). It lacks the uniformity, but it still convincingly turns him from a burly little bot into a larger burly little bot.

Marine just dropped into my PoL as well, was kinda surprised

I was shocked when I got the e-mail today that my Jungle pre-order was in. I placed that pre-order back 14 months ago.

Now only if I hadn't shipped my POL last week.....

That's sucky timing!

The saddest part is the same thing happened last September when I had my last POL shipment. About a week after that one a couple preorders that I had waited for showed up.

If you don't have this set, and you are on the fence about getting it, I think Va'al and I fought over who could recommend this more. The Chaos/Paladin set is awesome as the Fallen, and the other sets really enhance several of the PCC Commanders. I still crack these out from time to time to fiddle with. (I should start asking for endorsements from some of these companies... )

I got two green sets - still having trouble finding a grey set though.

If you want something to enhance the PCC toys the Chibi Devastator toy due soon has the same connectors and can perhaps also be used as arms and legs for PCC torsos.

I kind of wish they'd reissue these sets or even repaint them.
if for no other reason than they'd make good limbs for some bonkers torso mode for the TFC-Toys Predacons especially if there was a red set.
