I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Maketoys' website no longer has the Marine deco of the add-on set. the Jungle deco is still there, and supposed to be coming out in March.

BBTS, on the other hand, has both (but not Chaos/Paladin) and lists them for February.

Not bad, Maketoys, not bad at all.

Had to sadly cancel my pre-orders for these. Unemployment will do that to you. Hope to find a job soon so I can expand my love of PCC figures and PCC-based stuff.

I emailed Kapow, who have yet to hear from Maketoys about this.
They do expect a delivery somewhere between end of March and beginning of April, though.

Captured Prey seems to be the US Based retailer for this set, according to their spotlight banner on the front page. Got mine preordered upfront. payment is taken immediately on checkout but you have the option to use Paypal so you have a 60 day safety net in case anything goes awry.

As much as I want the mold, I don't want it in The Fallen colours. Either of those other Mobine accessory colourschemes would've been of interest to me in giant-robot mode, but not this one.

60days isn't really all that useful when it'll probably take more than that for this to come out.

So far only UpgradeCommander, KapowToys, and CapturedPrey are the only ones that have opened the pre=orders. MT still has Chaos/Paladin and the Missile Launcher Jungle and Marine Types have been delayed due to manufacturing issues. We're all still waiting. Most likely, we'll see more e-tailers doing pre-orders once MT has resolved their issues.

I agree with you on that one Mkall, that black and orange colour scheme just looks weird?

Assuming all goes well with production and sales, I wonder if Maketoys have a respective Commander figure to be released at a later date, maybe an exclusive of sorts, which would replace the Hasbro Commanders shown in promotional photos?

This would work a treat, as all those promo shots have helped sell the add-on limbs first of all, then adding their own Commander later, knowing fans who have all ready bought the limbs will jump at one! A bit like what TFC are doing with their Iron Army?

still quite keen on getting this, but I've got too many other things that are priorities, and I do usually prefer to buy from TFSource now and get stuff imported for usually less than the Kapow base price.

I do really want a Fallen. So much that I'd considered getting MMC's black HOS Optimus for the job way back when. This one has a much better robot mode, and a load of play value. Grr. If TFSource doesn't get him, hopefully Kapow will have some left after it gets released and I can make my mind up (or rather my bank balance will make my mind up for me) and I'll have hopefully seen some reviews by then too.

Glad to hear Maketoys still going, because it was a bit quiet for a while there and I really liked their minibots and Battle Tanker.

Price difference between BBTS and Kapow isn't that great, after shipping costs. That feels good.

Concerned about the July release date though.

TFSource's price and their Stack feature mean I've caved. Having to pay up front and at a price that's £30 dearer than the US$ price mean that Kapow lose out, and now I get to choose when, and what else I get with this, whenever it does ship. Don't mind if they miss the June date, so long as we're not left hanging for months/years.

This guy is going to square off with my Vector Prime. And I'm glad I didn't cancel the 3 Skybreaker swords I ordered. Think the Fallen might get the purple one.

Pissed by the price difference (Captured Prey), especially since BBTS' ship is minimal with the POL. A small return would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath.

At least it's already paid for through them. It is no fun when BBTS makes your bank account absorb a bunch a big things at once.

oh yeah, it it's only one thing it's not such a big issue. But I've got a bunch of stuff to ship from TFSource, and will need to get some of it to me soon (but maybe not this month...damn bills) so combining shipping, I've usually ended up saving a ton off shipping a bulk lot. £30 shipping for 5 or 6 (or more) things beats buying each one individually for £5-10 (or more!) dearer.

Kapow still might get my Metroplex order yet though. Shipping on that thing is going to kill.
