Rated X wrote:I just popped on these after seeing the markdown in price from the original CP price. Im just curious if these pictures are of the set with or without the PCC figure ? Im confused what are the extra parts that DONT come with the camo versions of this set ? Can someone break it down what extras you get and which modes need the PCC figure ? also which PCC figure is recommended ? Thanks in advance.

I want him as the Fallen so this seems to be the best all around set.

Hi folks,
I've just completed various tasks, including work, packing orders, and sorting the series 4 Micron Capsule figures. Obviously, as I settle in this evening to check on things with the store for the evening, the sales landscape for Maketoys' Highly anticipated Chaos/Paladin set has changed, and I are no longer the only store offering it here. Also clear is that the others, coming in when they have, have been able to take advantage of the improved US Dollar to Japanese Yen exchange rates, and have listed a price substantially lower than we have had him listed for. I want to make clear up front that the pricing I have had on this set was based on the exchange rate at the time it was offered to ME, which at that time was much worse, and had been holding rather steady for a long time. This is not a situation where the price was inflated artificially, as I do not engage in such tactics.
However, given the changed pricing landscape for the set, and the improved exchange rates, this will be a situation where the Captured Prey Pre-Order Guarantee will come into play, and an adjustment will be made for everyone's orders. I ask you to give me some time to look at the factors (including that there are a LOT of orders for this, and most are, of course, past the timeframe for direct refunds), and determine the best way to take care of you all.
A further message will be sent soon, once a course of action has been determined, and I will of course resolve this as quickly as possible. It may take a few days to get everything planned and executed, as we, like most of you, have plans that don't involve working on the weekend, but it will be done in short order.
Thank you!

Also, I will point out that the cause behind this is basically that the yen has become much stronger than it was when this first went up for order, and I had to base my pricing on that cost when I listed it, and had to do so with only the roughest ability to guess what anyone else might charge. Obviously things have changed and some adjustment is necessary.
I will need to look at exactly how to handle the adjustment, since there are a large number of orders, and the majority of them are well past the point where I can issue a direct refund, but there will absolutely be an announcement sent to everyone who has ordered within a few days as to what will be done.

Indeed, damn it Va'al. Do you work for these guys?
I'm also seriously considering one of the others. That rifle does look great...

I agree, that's a avery nice touch.
I wonder if Kapow! will do something similar..?
Might send them that email from Captured Prey.
as we're based in the UK we're subject to a different exchange rate Vs the £ and also have a much higher VAT element than the USA so won't be able to price match sadly but your more than welcome to cancel and grab a pre-order from Orson, he is a great guy and won't see you wrong.
Thanks for your email

Hi All,
I wanted to drop a line to let you all know that as of this time, if you have a Chaos/Paladin on order which was ordered at the original price, your account has been granted a $26 credit as an adjustment to the new price of $79. This credit does not expire, and is valid on everything we carry - it even applies towards shipping charges. When you are logged in, you'll be able to see the credit on your account, and the credit applies automatically to your cart without any codes or other extra steps to use it.
Thanks,
