Malaysia to see May 29th midnight release of ROTF toyline

Looks like the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toyline will see an early release in Malaysia. In a blog update done over at Toy Workers a flyer for a pre release launch party has been posted featuring the first wave of Transformers ROTF figures along with parts of the second wave.
This release of Wave 1 and 2 figures could mean the rest of the world may also see second wave figures on store shelves come May 30th. We'll keep you posted as the news develops.

Well I guess my whole paycheck will be gone now, if they reasle both waves in US.

ROTF Toy midnight launch to occur in Singapore

Hot on the heels of our report that Malaysia will be having a Transformers Revenge of the Fallen pre launch, we get word that a similar event for the toyline will also be occurring in Singapore as well.
Toys R Us in Forum the Shopping Mall will be hosting the event starting at 10:30 PM. Shoppers won't be able to purchase the toys til after midnight but there will be events going on leading to the mass release of the line with the first 200 shoppers receiving a free Transformers Revenge of the Fallen guidebook.
Great news for our friends in Singapore. More news on these events as they become available.

When I asked about something simmilar to this at toysrus they said no because appaerntly transformers are not as big as star wars. I saw the massive star trek and terminator front display so i figured their not gonna pull that down and put up one for transformers all with in 2 weeks. In the US i guess were not as facinated with robots but what about the 300 mil + box office?

If this is going to take place in the US im sure the TRU near me wont be doing this. The stores over here blow. They never do any thing cool.
