I'm still deciding if I should bother picking this up. I still haven't finished collecting stuff in Smash bros nor have I completed Bully yet. Still, if I get some extra cash, it couldn't hurt to get an extra "5 free minutes so let's play a quick race" game

We shall have to sort out a time when a load of us can get on together. Some time in late June or such.

New competition up! Pass through 10 gates in order on the SNES mario battle map!

I got a time of 1:12. I shall try and improve it tomorrow.

Updating first post with I_amtrunks.

You'd be surprised mate. I like to play from 4:00 pm GMT to well after midnight. The odds are pretty good.

I used my dear Mii on his mach bike.
But I may get the old kart out and try powersliding the entire thing... :-?

I tried karts and bikes, 1:12 is the best I can do with the damn wheel.

Probably not the right thread for this, but how do I pick the GameCube controller for use on solo mode?

I can use it for player 2 in multiplayer but I want to use it in single action.

Locust finally got Mario Kart. bought on a whim. Probably won't race for a short while, still got to practice. But here's info nonetheless.

It's probably just me, but having the wii wheel dangling off my wrist by a strap makes me think I'm carrying one of the Predator's disc weapons, although I'm pretty sure this would do far more damage.

I find the strap infuriating. I don't use the strap at all any more (I know I'm not gonna fling the wiimote across the room), so it just dangles over the wii wheel, and flaps around when I'm turning corners.

It's like having a small child sat on your lap while you're driving 8-}

sorry for jumping in here, i played mario kart wii and i like it alot however i havent found much good about the bike besides turning. can someone tell me any other uses for them.

Faster, lighter, tighter cornering.

I beat the entire game on a bike (except, obviously, 50cc). I highly recommend them. They leave the karts in the dust.

as sad as it is, I have yet to figure out how to pull a wheelie.

If using the Wii Wheel or Nunchuck, you simply have to jerk the Wiimote in an upward direction (same thing you do to do a trick on the jumps). The wheelie will end after a certain distance, or by bumping into another driver.

To avoid slowing down from bumping into another driver, use the hop button to cancel the wheelie prematurely.

Or in the case of wii wheel driving, just tilt the wiimote back to the normal position quickly.

For the first weekend, I had no clue how people were wheelieing. I couldn't figure it out at all.

Gah, there's still three weeks until I can play MK again. Damn exams.
