Saw The Eternals.

DOn't know about anyone else, but I was really disappointed. It really didn't live up to the hype as a superhero movie to me. Far too much fault-finding and blaming, angst, and was too long. First ever MCU sex scene (not really necessary).

Upside, it finally clicked when I saw the second post credit scene who Dane Whitman was. Boy did I feel like an idiot. Wonder if he will pop up in Doctor Strange MOM?
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

I saw Venom 2 last week. Shriek was supposed to be an albino. So was Domino. The original Shriek has black hair and blue eyes. I plan on buying Eternals. I rented the Eternals on netflix.

I don't think he'll be in MoM but possibly in the movie of the mysterious voice ;)

Is he getting a standalone? The reason I'm wondering about the MOM is the mystic aspect...it would be a great place to introduce the character (I'm assuming you know who the mysterious voice is)

Personally, I thought Eternals was the most enjoyable MCU film I've watched since Phase One. Not a formula in sight. A genuine sci-fi movie with action elements. As opposed to all comic book movies being shoehorned into action.
Even the obligatory comic relief character wasn't as in your face and obnoxious as they normally are. A more faithful adaptation than GoTG, at least.

Venom 2 was also very fun. The domestic argument scene even had me laughing. I was surprised by how short it was too.

The post credit scene has me wondering...we know he's going to be in that movie now, I suspect, but on WHOSE SIDE? And will we see Carnage again? It is a different universe after all, so he may well still be alive.

Also, after that scene I can't wait to see what Ryan Reynolds does with the merger..."That sudden flash...what the f*ck? As if two major studios were realigning thanks to the cries of millions of fanboys and fan girls..."
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

I wouldn't mind Carnage left as a one and done villain. They've shown his entire schtick in this film. No need to rehash it.

I concur.

@First-Aid i know the identity of the mysterious voice
Blade.

I wonder what fans will do when Spidey: No Way Home fails to deliver the experience they've imagined

I've heard rumour that this film is being used to gauge which Spider-Man people are more receptive too, for going forward within the MCU. I know some long term Spidey fans that don't like the "Iron Man Groupie".

The whole 'fated to die' thing is interesting. Considering there are at least four villains that didn't die in their respective films.

I thought the same thing, not going to speculate though as Marvel has thrown curveballs at us before (edited cuts with certain characters missing in the Endgame trailer for one).

As for the ominous line from Dr. Strange at the end. On the one hand, clearly leading into his next film. On the other, speculation is running wild that it heralds the (post-credits) arrival of the X-Men.

There's now rumours of Hugh jackman in MoM.

I am more believing of the multiple spidermen theory after watching the uncut lizard and Sandman attack footage where lizard is getting whacked in the face by thin air. I still think Sony are playing a dangerous game with fan hype.

Yeah I saw that on the Brazilian trailer too, this is the same kind of thing they did with the Civil War and Endgame trailers.

I'm curious about how it'll play out, and seeing Alfred Molina and Willem Dafoe again is awesome. but I'm not hyped like I should be. heck I haven't seen Black Widow or Shang Chi yet. Endgame just felt like almost to perfect of a conclusion I guess.

I really hope not. The X-Men should be brand new casting.

Endgame was, to the Avengers story. There's a lot more to Marvel than them. Especially since Disney have bought most of them back now. It is a shame Iron Man's rogues gallery have been nearly completely omitted from the MCU, in hindsight. Hulk's too. But that's a rights thing.

I'd recommend Shang Chi. It's a decent origin movie with some really good fight choreography too.
Black Widow... was good, for the first 30 minutes or so. The realisation after that being, this film should have been in a much early phase. It certainly gives off the vibe of an earlier film anyway.
