So, in the interest of using the 'up arrow' above - if this rumor is true what types of accessories are people hoping for (beyond the energo sword)?

Mini Wheely and Daniel, think of the possibilities!

Ok, I hate to seem like I'm beating such a dead horse here, but I really don't get it. First your issue with MP Prime was something about the truck mode looking unrealistic, then you started talking about proportions or something, and now the issue is that the vehicle interior is better represented in the Alternators line, which is meant to show super detailed cars? I don't know....maybe it's the general climate of Seibertron these days, but this just sounds like complaining for the sake of complaining. If you are that unhappy with the toy, then why did you/would you buy one?

I didn't. I was gonna buy one. The robot looks good.

But then, i was able to play and transform the Prime of my friend first. Then i got turned off when i finally see the actual vehicle mode.

So i didn't buy.

Don't call him stupid.. he just doesn't see the real need for a MP prime. there's another side to it you know... we could all be blinded by Prime's benevolence...

That's ok. Prime is such a popular character. That many are happy just to be able to get him. Never mind the imperfections.

For accessories, it would be nice to have wrist communicators and missle launchers that work. None of the MP Transformers have missle launchers so far.

Hmm, don't you reckon a high end tranforming Masterpiece model is above such kiddie accesories like working missile launchers?

They're pointlessin a MP. I can't seepeople who shell out 100 bucks for an MP, proceeding to break out a little game or war under the coffee table in which they need working missiles.

That stuff can be saved for toys. Last I checked, I don't believe the MP line are considered to be toys.

if you dont want them to fire, dont shoot them, some people like the firing missles, some dont. Its just as easy to make them firing (IF the robot in question has missles) but if i dont want them fired, i dont fire them. I dont see it as a down point because they can fire it i wanted them too

A good example of firing missiles ruining a figure is Masterpiece SS. The missiles and his Null Ray cannons look great and do not fire.

Imagine if the made his weapons firing. Now you would have the G1 design, with a bulky launcher and narrow missiles that fit in it, completely ruining the aesthetics. And aesthetics is what MPs are all about.

well thats my point, starscream didnt have missle's. They are lasers, so i totally agree with you there. but with someone like ultra Magnus (for example) he has small red missle's on his shoulders. so why shouldnt a mp of his have the same???

Well, the G1 SS's "lasers" fired.

Not to mention, MP SS comes with missiles as well, and they do not fire and are better off for it.

A character like UM might be the excpetion as his anime design shows pods to fire missiles from. So sure, in that case, I would be ok with it. Unless ofcourse toy safety laws make it so the missiles have to be 3 inches long......

thats all i was saying, if it fits in with what the character looks like then im ok with it. UBt however, if they do have to be 3" long then id rather have fake missles

Yup, I'd agree with that. Though I have no need for firing missiles, I would not object to any that were unobtrusive, as UM's would be.

what i can never understand is if they put missles into places like SS lasers, why cant they make them fully insert, so we cant see them??

Well, I thin kif they made them flush so it looked like a real rocket when compressed, it would be grossly out of scale as they would need to make the pod half of the rocket pretty fat to house the spring.
