Insignia looks the same. Maybe larger.

This appears to use the face-sculpt from the Asian reissue. And maybe it's just the pic but it looks better in white? Less reflections on it.

They painted over the Lamborghini logos, seems unnecessary.

The ball joints are partly white to blend with the thighs.

The wheels are grey because in robot mode they turn light grey. And the rest was mentioned already.

Overall this doesn't look much different, if you don't have an MP-12 yet treat this as a kind of reissue.

There's a different face sculpt? Never knew

I think this is good news for fans that missed out on MP-12 the first time.

I still think it's a great mold, but don't understand why Takara didn't redo his face now. It can't be that expensive? He was handsomer in the cartoon. Maybe if they had at least shaved the soul patch.

I just realized that with the black around his feet instead of the red, it means the back of the lambo will just be straight black. It wont be a great looking car mode from the back.

I thought the same thing.

I think it's unnecessary, but he does look slightly better (in bot mode anyways). The important thing to take away from this is that the MP+ line is continuing so we might see a anime accurate Wheeljack someday... :-?

Like I said before, this just makes me realize how much we need an updated Sideswipe figure. I bet the chest wouldn't be that hard to modify to shrink down a bit.

I can see where they are coming from with this reissue. As Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are brothers in the cartoon, they probably wanted this "new" Sideswipe to come out at about the same time as Sunstreaker as to improve the selling of it.

Yeah, the same thing happened with the previous MP+ release - Red Alert was close with Inferno, hence MP+ Red Alert when Inferno was released.
