IF there were issues that is. Supposedly, if you follow the instructions, it does say how to move the barrel piece to avoid the paint chipping.

Also, I think I will bite too. I was told from someone who has been collecting toys since RID 2001 that this is the best toy he has ever handled. And if you simply follow the instructions, he is a pleasure to transform. This intrigues me greatly.

Please remember ... PC are Australian based, and their price is a little higher as they're the ones who will be dealing with customs to get him landed in Australia.

A week shy of 8 months, and still no Megatron. What I did get today though was a refund for him, not from PC, no, that would require the wanker to actually reply to e-mails, but rather the financial company I paid through. No hassle with them whatsoever, and they actually reply to e-mails.

Unlike Premium Collectables. Who suck donkey balls, and no one should deal with them.

Oh and while I was searching for this post of mine to quote, I found this lovely gem.

Still true. I never bought 36, and I do think Despotron is a better looking figure. That said, 36 is an amazing figure, and I was wrong with my initial impressions.

Megs wasn't peeling off paint when I opened mine.

Sure he has a back kibble but who cares to look at the back of your fig!

Next we get bellyaches that Takara has gone the simplistic anime look. Well Megs may have the "anime" look but I challenge the naysayers to ask for a G1 toy accurate look and see how y'all will puke :roll:

He IS a piece of engineering marvel. No 3rd party can top that! :-$

All I plan to get and keep mostly are G-1 Masterpieces from season 1-2 (but not all of them, definitely 1st season everyone) and cover the 1986 Movie. Then only Movie Masterpieces, from the first movie to the third with select figures. But for the 1st Movie, definitely all the Autobots and Decepticons. Like for the later movies, definitely the Fallen. Definitely Megatron, definitely soundwave. Definitely Sentinel Prime. Maybe Soundwave, both versions. That's about it.

All the domestic retail usual suspects have it listed (assuming you're in the US). Not sure if it's still available for PO at Japanese sites. Don't think it's available anymore via anime-export.com
