he's already based on a Nazi gun, the connection has been around since his inception.
Although his setup is based on the gun from the man from U.N.C.L.E.

Have fun with Megatron. This is a figure to be enjoyed, not handled with kit gloves.

Did you order from Premium Collectables as well?
HA! I joke. It'll be a long time before he arrives from them.
Cyberpath wrote:The gun-mode is so awesome and I love holding it, but it was time to transform him back! (less than 50 minutes.) The precautions seem to have worked, too.
Optibotimus rules for always showing transformations in both directions.
Now I "need" an MP Starscream, whether it be MP-11 or "Howling Meteor"..

It can always be tightened back.

It's not just to protect the paint. Without sanding, the silencer doesn't slide all the way through. (Unless you got lucky with your piece.) Some even broke the barrel trying to remove it.

I get that, but what I'm saying is that it is a completely unnecessary step to take. This is a very sturdy figure. All the release fears were based on one or two accounts, that were later self admitted to being a result of user error.Ironhidensh wrote:I also think the sanding of parts will prove to be nothing more than a delaying tactic. I might concede the point on the suppressor, but even that is still really a paint issue. Mine left marks, but that may have been due more to remaining plug glue residue on the inside of Megs' barrel. The suppressor itself slid right on and off, no issues.
I'm really not trying to pick fights, I just feel there is still quite a bit of mis information on this figure. I get that, I myself was a rather big nay sawyer, right up until I got Megatron in hand. This figure is very well made, aside from the paint, and a bit of excess plastic on the barrel hinge (I had to trim that myself). I just don't want to see people afraid of it. It needs to be enjoyed.

Agamemnon wrote:Awesome pics, Cyberpath! Between what you and Diem have provided, I am almost sold... Can the barrel of the gun be swung in a bit more to the center of the back? It is really the only reason (well the price is a big one too, to be honest) that I haven't yet bitten on getting MP-36....
