Thanks to Seibertronian Logan. we have new images of Masterpiece Shattered Glass Optimus Prime from the Taiwan Toy Show! These images were posted by the Wanna Hobby Facebook page and feature the evil Shattered Glass Prime posing in a battle stance with his axe and blaster ready and his trailer set up behind him. You know what would really be nice that's shattered glass? SG Ravage. There are plenty of molds to use, just paint one white, paint the symbol red, and call it official.

Honestly I'm surprised there's been no repaints of the MP Cassette molds at all (Frenzy, Buzzsaw and Year of the Goat aside). You'd think they'd be the easiest ones and Glit could be repurposed into said very popular SG character hence a lot of sales. Especially if you bundle him with a red Decepticon sticker.

I would honestly start collecting Masterpieces in mass if we start getting Shattered Glass Repaints. It would be a great place to start for me and it is one of my favorite TF universes.

I want a shelf full of SG Masterpiece toys. I already repurposed MP Delta Magnus as SG Ultra Magnus and Dx9 Terror as Rodimus Prime. A good one will be SG Wheeljack but ship him with purple Autobot stickers and purple Decepticon stickers. That way if people don't want SG MP Wheeljack, they can make him MP Slicer.

You have no idea how much I want the Cobalt Sentry Team. More obscure Decepticons? More female decepticons (including technically the first trans character)? A friggin' Decepticon secret police force? I need them so bad.

All you need to know is Optimus is a maniacal tyrant that is prone to violence and deviously cunning, Hot Rod is Starscream with a saw hand and a goatee and much more competent, and everything else after that is equally as interesting, backwards, and downright fun and cool.

And it is a sexy looking figure. I will not regret ordering this one and making it an MP first for me

Yeah, it's the antiverse trope. Good guys are bad, bad guys are good, Starscream's a loyalist and Ravage has a twitter.
It's based primarily on the Classicsverse.

But it also pulls in bots from all kinds of dimensions, like homemade bots just for the story, RiD 2001 guys, Armada, even some old G1 comics styled stuff.

It is a really interesting thing. If you like Star Trek mirror universe (which I think you do?) then you will like it.

The KO looks pretty nice, but I like literally everything better on the official more. The only thing I initially preferred was the red eyes of the KO, but got to thinking: I already have one red eyed evil Prime (MP10B) so the yellow eyes are a nice departure ;)^

Yes it is!! It's making me want this dang figure!! More even than Nemesis Prime, maybe because this guy actually IS Optimus Prime, not a clone type of bot. And I'm not even in to the Shattered Glass universe stuff!! I thought it was kinda cool but never picked any of the exclusives up.
