After viewing the pics all I can say is that it was taken using a cell phone camera since they look terrible. What it is is anybody's guess.

it could be megatron's new body. If anything - it has to be some kind of prototype b/c these new movies toys will not be out for another 5 or 6 months (april/may) --presuming it'll be a June movie release date.

I'm happy to see that other folks noticed the FAB style that this thing has. It totally reminds me of my youngest sons FAB Megatron. Regardless of picture res. and the fact that I try to keep a somewhat open mind about this stuff, I just cannot buy into this one. I hope I'm wrong but the BS alarm in the back of my head is buzzing like mad.

I hate when pics suck..but..
I hope this is remotely real, I'd love to see some of Soundwave.

Saying that pic looks especially good or bad is like looking at an ultrasound of a baby and saying the baby is good looking or ugly.

Although in this case, I'd go for the latter.

looks like the pictures that are supposed to be of the alt-mode are just the figure laying face down so its not even transformed.
for all we know it could be jetfire or some other character.
