I'm looking for the newer 2002 Creatures of the Night set. It has the 80's line-up and outfits.

As that series was produced in 2002 any chance of finding it in the primary market would have passed you by 2004. Even the site for Mcfarland hasn't supported the series for a while now. Plus as it is a later series that McFarland produced, it's production run was smaller that the original Line-up or Pyscho Circus.
Keep your eyes on Ebay or possibly a KISS memorabilia site, if you want a chance at finding one.
Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

Well seeing that they only operate one store in Glendale, I guess you should be fortunate that you are in Arizona.
Good luck, and post when you have Eric in hand.
